WOW. So he just showed insane football IQ with calling the play under pressure then threw a bomb of a pass with perfect precision while off balance. But as you saw in this video a 24 year old QB told the coaches what play he wanted to run and they let him...in a Superbowl...losing, with the end of the game nearing. They clearly have a lot of faith in this kid and he delivers. Special, special player.

In it, the coach says, You want Philly-Philly the same way Mahomes was told “You like Wasp?” Search the play up! One of THE best and coolest plays in football history. The fact that made it cool, was that the play actually worked for a touchdown!

Reminder: This was only Mahomes' sixth season ever, in his life, playing football as the declared starter for his football team. He had two years in high school as the starter, two years at Texas Tech as the starter, and this was his second year as the starter for the Chiefs.

You conveniently leave out his rookie year, during which he sat the bench behind Alex Smith. That counts, especially given that he saw game-action during the season. He has 7 seasons (8 if you count his redshirt year at Tech. He had to have been a redshirt junior if he played only two years. Missed defensive offsides, missed holding calls, miss defensive pass interference( is it P.I. if the CB hugs the WR while he's trying to finish his route to the ball?), missed call on helmet to helmet on Garrapolo, calling OPI on Kittle when Kelce did the same to get you into the SB lol, no delay of game that would give SF another down and that was just what was most blatant. Watch it from the end zone angle. He didn’t hold Bosa. He redirected him by going down the line of scrimmage. I’ve seen angles where it looked like a hold, but when you see it from the angle that the officials had, you can see that it wasn’t a hold.

Amazing throw by Mahomes. No hold call on Bosa is the reason he had time but still if Moseley sticks to the game plan then that ball is batted down/picked. Chiefs elite speed caused that defensive breakdown to happen. That play was the right call and that throw was incredible and was the difference in the game
