NFL Films: Gone But Not Forgotten used to show the year born & died (ex: 1930-2021) so that you could get a sense of the person’s age at (usually) his death. Please bring that back.

It’s a validated fact that a NFL Career shortens life spans. 3 Members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins 🐬 undefeated SB VII TEAM, Jim Kick, Nick Buoniconti & Mercury Morris passed with in 16 months of each other & autopsies revealed all 3 had the advanced stages of CTE. Marty Schottenheimer should be in the Hall of Fame. Every team he coached got better, save his one season with Washington. 200+ regular season wins is better than most of the coaches already in Canton, but his less than stellar playoff record is keeping him out.

Freddie Joe Nunn was actually our family friend's brother. Nobody will ever have a legacy like Madden; a sports analyst that has the most sought after sports games of all time and that was solely based on his analyst career?! That simply does not happen! It would be like Al Michaels or Joe Buck having a game franchise! Marty averaged 9.79 wins a season. Maybe they didn't win the big one, because he was too conservative? Or, maybe it was that fumble in Cleveland or that Elway had a knack for being Montana in the AFC playoffs as a youngster? Or the season where LT gets hurt in the playoffs or them facing NE multiple times? Still, it would have been a real feel good story had he won 1 like Elway finally got to do...
