The Steelers left 11 points on the board (Pickens cost them 7 points and Tomlin cost them 4) and got robbed for another 7 points by the refs on that pick-6. The score should’ve been 62-31…the Steelers were DOMINANT, and it’s because Russ was DOMINANT! Today, Russ was Brady, Manning, and his prime self. Russ is as versatile and dynamic a passer as there is in the league. If he’s holding the ball, it’s because Arthur Smith isn’t doing his job, just like Pete wasn’t doing his job at times in Seattle. Russ can throw any pass and other QB in the league can throw. I think Steelers fans are about to find out just how badly national media disrespected Russ over the years when he was in Seattle, and even in 2023 in Denver. His arm is special.

Been saying since the off-season that the Steelers have not had this much talent since the 70s. They are young and have play-makers at every position. As soon as Cory Trice gets back on the field they will have 3 shutdown corners that are 6' 4" and run 4.4 40s. We went from 0 shutdown corners to 3 in the last 2 years. Haven't had a great corner since Rod Woodson and now we have 2 possibly 3. Russell Wilson plays like Bradshaw and the offensive and defensive lines will only get better. Even if they don;t get it done this year which would be ahead of schedule. They will be a team to be reckoned with for many years to come. This team has done a fantastic job acquiring talent the last 3 years and they are only going to get better. We haven't even seen their best game yet. The best is yet to come! Have watched every game since the 70s and never thought I would see this team with this much talent again. And this team is more talented than the 2005 and 2008 Super Bowl winners by far.

Wilson hit 10 different targets.....a few weeks ago the whole nation said this receiving group wasn't deep enough. Arthur Smith (OC) has Wilson hitting TE's and RBs along with WRs.
@elliegonzales82129 сағат бұрын
It's not deep enough. When you meet a team that can get home with their D-line alone they have trouble. Example: Browns. If your opponent is having to use linebackers to get to the QB then yeah you can hit the RB in the shallow middle hit the tight end behind the backers or in the shallow seam. When it's not there though there is no #2 to stretch the field and pull coverage off Pickens. Mike Williams did what today? This is a glaring weakness...someone needs to step up as #2 that can run the intermediate stuff as well. Either 15(can't say his name) Miller, or Jefferson. Williams is a deep ball guy like Pickens.

AND that is why the Steeler Nation exists all over the world. The Rooneys run that team the right way. Anyone who cares to look, can see it clearly. I’m a NYer.. grew up in the 70’s.. watched the Steelers D wreck house and fell in love with the way they played the game. Was a bit of a Raiders fan too.. but as I got older and watched how the Steelers team operated year after year and began to understand all the nuances of the work behind the team on the field and how good they are at selecting people of character, not just talent. As opposed to the Raiders. That’s when I started to bleed black and gold. Nothing can tear my love for this team away now. Not O’Donell throwing away a SB.. not any draft busts or a few coaching gaffs. That’s all just the bumps and bruises associated with play 😏. What i love is how every once in a while, through consistency, perseverance and dedication to the team.. a group gets assembled there that are just unstoppable and the most enjoyable team atmosphere to watch that I ever see from any teams in the game. That’s the Steeler way.. and it comes from the top. The Rooneys know how to build, and continue to build, the best team in football. Yeah.. freaks like Brady and Mahomes and others come along and make life difficult sometimes lol.. but iron sharpens iron. We’ll get better. And they’ll never be the black and gold. Secondary is still atrocious. If watt or the rush dont get pressure, the secondary is nonexistent. We will get gashed by mahomes and allen. Porter needs to take a seat. Pickens needs discipline and accountability, neither of which he will receive from Tomlin.

I swear if I could have one wish in life I would’ve picked to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers even tho I’m a casual, I played football in high school and it was so much fun from the moments of winning games, to when we won a championship, to winning one year by being undefeated all season to a getting 3peat championships while I played. Those are moments to die for! The way everyone celebrates and cheers I love it. I miss the good times playing ball, even if it was high school idc because playing football is just so much fun and is once in a lifetime you’ll never get the chance to play again. Football gives life to me. The Steelers have the best culture and organization, and everything about them is a perfect fit for someone like me, Coach Cowher explains it precisely throughout this entire video 8:57. Sorry for the yapping but yeah made me wish to play for the Steelers too. Here we go Steelers 🖤💛🙂

I agree. I think they'll likely lose to Philadelphia and KC. They gotta win out against Cleveland, Baltimore, and Cincinnati to have a shot at the Division Title

I knew they’d have to score at least 30 to win. I wasn’t expecting them to put that up in the first half 😄.

New England played in nine Super Bowls (6-3) in their 19-season stretch. Dallas appeared in five Super Bowls (2-3) in the 21-season stretch. Pittsburgh has appeared in three Super Bowls (1-2) in their 21-season stretch. Tomlin has now coached 18 of those seasons and is 1-1, the last appearance being the 2010 season. As of now, he's 3-8 in the playoffs since then. And yet people crown him as if he's Vince Lombardi or Chuck Noll. Excellent regular season record, subpar in the playoffs. That's the facts. We'll see what happens this year....

Great game but Tomlin needs to get Pickens under control. Needs to put his foot down and discipline him. Those penalties today were unacceptable
@dlc85068 сағат бұрын
I can live with that. What no one should be forced to live with is Joey porter Jr's holding on every passing play. He is a liability...
@Justb99xbox7 сағат бұрын
@@dlc8506 yeah that too. But you can't live with what Pickens does after the plays. Those can be game changing penalties.
@dlc85065 сағат бұрын
@@Justb99xbox But we can, and we have with AB. Now when that behavior outweighs what Pickens does productively. Then and only then will he not be playing.. Didn't u hear? That's the Golden rule of football. And that rule ain't changing now, no matter how much u or other fans don't like it!...

@dlc8506 AB was not like that at the beginning of his career.

@@dlc8506JPJ definitely needs to stop getting cooked he’s been inconsistent unfortunately this season, I love how the dude plays but the penalties he gets against us are just very very costly bro. I love the dude but he needs to get this solved asap. I believe he will.

As an LSU fan and being from the great state of Louisiana. Burrow is a damn great QB. Right now, the difference between two, Joe has a national championship.

Russ is the first QB in league history to hit 8 different recovers with a 20 yard completion. That's insane. 6 of those 8 receivers are middle of the road journeymem, pr worse. Every other QB is tossing the rock to legit receivers, but Russ don't care. And what was that everyone was insisting? He CAN'T throw over the middle? Cough.😢

@HellxAngelz3 сағат бұрын
@@jordanvargovichThen who is leading? TJ has been on his A game he just gets held most of the time and honestly it’s becoming an atrocity. Either way he’s broken records this year, with his sack numbers and now even forced fumbles. Trey Hendrickson didn’t do squat today against Pittsburgh, he had zero sacks and he’s the #1 leader in sacks this season at this current moment. I truly believe DPOTY is in TJ’s hands right now.
