Jerry is comfortable. His family is very comfortable. Same deal with Hal Steinbrenner. If they ever win another championship then that would simply be icing on the cake. To win the ultimate prize, ownership has to be hungry. It has to have people running day to day operations that are hungry. It has to have players that are hungry. Cowboys are a glamor team. The players they reward are more hungry for fame and fortune than any success on the field. I watched the Chargers. Somehow they became a hungry team over night. Charger ownership was desperate enough to get out of the comfort zone they had been languishing in for decades.

And Mike ..you are right. There isn't a close-up attention to details with The Browns, The Colts, The Cowboys, the Jaguars or the 49ers. It is as if these teams have indirectly forge a tanking method or procedure so that the fans become unaware of the happenings or goals of the organization. What is the main theme that screams the loudest in the media and throughout the 32 teams in the NFL, "a 6th Superbowl" which would bring these two organizations, the Cowboys and the 49ers, a tie among the amount of Superbowls gain. In their feeble attempts to fulfill this quest, they have failed miserably in paying close attention to details in their practices, in tactics to win, & in building players to match the competition to win. I have watch these teams off season moves in free agency and draft...and the Cowboys along with the 49ers had great opportunities to attain great players to add to their teams but by passed these players and other teams got these highly skilled played. They also dismissed players who would provide help to their Quarterbacks succeed. They ignored offensive Linemen, Running backs, and defensive backs on numerous occasions which other teams obtain. This is a very secretly executed plot. And so far, the media is picking up on it but can do nothing about!

Aaron Rodgers made McCartheys career. Do people remember that expose on how he would skip meeting to get massages and hadn’t updated his playbook in years, and Rodgers would practically call plays cuz of how bad his play calling was. He’s not a good coach.

Prior to this year over the last three seasons McCarthy was 36-15, the best three year stretch the cowboys had in like 30 years. Andy Reid was 37-14 over the same period. McCarthy has his faults and that report was damning (although another player speculated that Rodgers started that rumour which is totally on brand), but to say he's not a good coach is absurd.

He has cost the cowboys multiple games with bad decisions that can not sensibly be blamed on anyone but the HC. I’ve seen him call a bubble screen, or a play designed for less than five yards, on 3-12 multiple times, for multiple years. Go back and watch his last few years in Green Bay, and you’ll see the same poor performances as this cowboys team. He is a bad coach who had a great roster, and only got a couple playoff appearances out of them. Now that those rosters have aged and left in free agency, his mistakes are harder to hide. Bad coach.
