Just imagine putting Jamies and Dan Campbell in a room together. I would pay endless money to watch that interaction. 😂

It might happen! After the Goff experiment fails in the next year or two, Detroit is going to need to find an answer at QB and I doubt they will want to go after a rookie

They need to sign him to a 3 year deal and just bite the bullet with Deshaun. Deshaun never had a fifth of the enthusiasm that Winston brings. I’d rather go 0-17 with Winston than 5-12 with Watson.

@@Idlewyld The billionaire gets a half pass. A lot of people were way too optimistic about Baker Mayfields skill so he overcompensated to replace Baker. Who would have thought that quite literally any journeyman QB could be putting up Patrick Mahomes numbers behind the Browns offense and that Baker and Watson were actually under achieving. I mean this is a team that could have made the playoffs with Jacoby Brissett who got benched in New England this season, did make the playoffs with Joe Flacco who just got benched in Indianapolis and is currently .500 in games with Winston when Watson couldn't even get the team in the end zone let alone win a game. If the Browns owner would just let his award winning staff do their jobs, this team would be a consistent playoff team.

FSU fan here. So glad to see the world getting a glimpse as to why we've always loved Jameis. He's literally one of a kind.

The best word to describe Jameis Winston is passionate. When he was with the Saints a lot of fans and team mates loved that passion.

Jameis is absolutely everything you want in your QB. But my God the interceptions LOL. Has a natural leader personality. I wonder if he can make a good coach down the line.

Jerry Jeudy has become a different player with Winston throwing him the ball. I wonder how he would’ve done in Denver if he had stayed for another year and had Bo Nix launching throws his way.

Rodney is the only one who seems to have this interrupting problem but I like that he put Florio in check on “the Browns are 2-8 and have nothing to play for” it’s that reminder everyone needs that Florio is an outsider in the football world. He’s never been apart of a team, never been in a locker room. He doesn’t really know what he’s talking about, he just assumes that he does, until he gets humbled baby!

@ bro he’s been a “football analyst” for over 20 years, and paid handsomely for it, and yet he couldn’t even tell you what cover 2 is. He’d never admit that of course. But the mediocrity that is accepted in sports media is pitiful

If Jameis had been drafted by a top east coast or west coast team (instead of an NFC South team) his career would have been covered entirely differently by the sports media. He was one of the greatest players in college football in the history of the sport.

If you're a Browns fan, you have every right to be pissed off that they didn't bench Watson much much sooner in favor of Jameis... Had they done that, maybe they'd have 5 or 6 wins now instead of only 3 and be right in the thick of the playoff chase. Too little, too late now, but at least there's a glimmer of hope for next season. And last night made it perfectly clear that Watson no longer has a place on this roster! The team just plays with so much more passionate intensity when Winston is QB.
@chrisclark27472 сағат бұрын
If they had gone to Winston after Week 3, they probably beat the Raiders in Week 4 and they probably get at least one of the next three against Washington, Philly and Cincinnati. They should have won the Eagles game. They would've been in the hunt.
