Most impressive part of the Brock Purdy performance is that all of his stats came in the first half. 180 yards and 3 TDs (1 rushing, 2 passing). McCaffrey scored a minute in to the 2nd half and it was 35-0. Brock only had 3 pass attempts, and they were all short screens, in the entire second half because the game was essentially over at halftime. So his stat line is very misleading, but it's only because he smacked the Bucs so hard in the first half that he got to take the second half off lol. That was a special performance!

@John Brattan so with the more film out there teams will try and stop what the starting QB likes to do. Jimmy was a very quick release see (read the def) what the Def does get ball out fast means less big plays but also less really bad plays (normally) Brock likes to hold the ball and push the ball downfield. So once a Def sees this they will make adjustments for how they think will stop the Off. Brock loves to break contentment of the pocket to get bigger plays. Defenses will soon look to rush up field to try to limit his success of doing this.

I'm a die-hard 49ers fan. The Eagles are looking very scary. Well scary if you're not healthy enough in the playoffs against them. If we're not healthy enough in the playoffs the cowboys could possibly beat us. Not the Vikings, all due respect to them will beat them in the playoffs if we play them. But yeah the eagles look very scary. So does my 49ers, we found a quarterback. Next season is going to have to be an open competition up until week 5 for the quarterback. Trey has barely played at all, he still deserves a shot to keep his job. But he's going to have to win it out right. Brock is throwing lasers, he's throwing touchdowns, and he's running for touchdowns.

The Eagles are one the best teams, but all they did was (at home) womp on a stumbling and rapidly crumbling Giants team who (no offense) started out impressively at 6-1 then went to win one game against the worst team in the NFL (Texans), lost 3 and tied Washington. The Bengals and Bills did just enough to win (I'm a Bills fan I can admit that), but the Ravens are a bit of a question mark not just now without Lamar but most of the season in terms of consistency. Out of all the games I was impressed with the 49ers, they somehow managed to make the Bucs look even worse. The irony of all ironies being the Bucs are still a playoff team, but Purdy isn't fools gold so the 49ers are my pick for the most impressive team this week followed by (maybe) the Chargers who desperately needed to (and did) put together a tough yet earned win.

The Buccaneers are somewhat of a surprise, but that blame can be spread all around between Bowles, Brady, Leftwich. I think everyone expected Brady (and for comparisons sake, Rodgers) to play at their previous all-pro levels. There has been a huge fall off in QB play this year for the older players, and nobody saw it coming. All that said, it's not an issue of black coaches, and there are plenty of black coaches who are more qualified for HC jobs than you are giving credit. If you wanna talk about shit coaching, the list starts with Hackett and McDaniels.
