Yo browns fan here I grew up here I'm 34. I'll say it. No stud wants to play here and that's why it's hard for us. It really is a perception issue we are fighting. Nobody thinks we can actually win it and so do our players it's a sickness. But we can maybe force it by being so stacked and talented. So we shall see.

Viable is a consultant for the browns. He was brought in by our Def coordinator ( who had a history with him) and our hc and front office signed off on it. He can spend ad little or as much time with team and ayers as he wants, he will be on sidelines during the season if he wants also. Mostly he took it to come back home and spend time and stay in football( he will get a job next hear ad a hc prob with bills after they go 5 and 12 and miss the playoffs). But that's his role, consultant, but he is basicly jim swarts( our DC) right hand man.

I'm sure that Vrabel is a strategic asset to CLE, but as a Browns fan, I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with Vrabel learning the team that well. If he goes to another team, then that whole time he was with CLE, he was basically a spy.

It's crazy because you could build the best team on the planet, but if you're missing that one piece at quarterback none of it really matters. I hope Watson proves me wrong. I really do! Kevin stefanski did it last year. I wasn't a big fan of his until I saw what he was able to do with that team last year. I lost all faith in stefanski after the browns blew a 2 td lead to the Joe Flacco led jets with 1 minute left. It was mind boggling to watch. You have this dominant RB in nick chubb, and lots of talent on defense. Run the ball to keep clock moving and play defense! I'm surprised they extended him, I don't think he will make it another 2 seasons.

Bengals fan here. I’m not worried about the Browns this year or Mike Vrabel. Do you know why? 2 reasons. 1. We have Joe Burrow and he is pissed about missing time last year. 2. Bill Callahan who is the best offensive line coach in the NFL is no longer working for the Browns. His son Brian, who is the Bengals former OC, is coaching the Titans and he brought his dad on board to coach their offensive line. So Callahan is out of there. People are going to underestimate how big of a change that is. Oh and Deshaun Watson is not going recover his form from 2020.

last played great in 2020 sat out 2021 played 6 games 2022 due to suspension played good in 2023 but was dealing with a injured shoulder last game before he was out for the season he beat the ravens in a comeback win and they were the best defense at the time. When there are 17 games and only 6 are division games the division games carry far less weight than non - division games. I am waiting for a season where a divison winner goes 0 - 6 in their division and wins it against a team who goes 6 - 0 in the division. 11 - 6 with no division wins beats 10 - 7 with 6 division wins.
