I have been watching football my entire life (50 years). Some of the coaching that has occurred this year has been nothing sort of amateurish. Eberflus yesterday took the cake. Your team had the Lions reeling. The game was in the balance. You have one timeout remaining. This is professional football. Your team should be prepared for situations like this.

Why shouldn't he have to do the press conference? Has it occurred to anyone that the organisation wanted to see what he would say before they made their final decision about him? C'mon now. He said the play before the Hail Mary in Washington had nothing to do with that loss, when it was exactly that play that made the Hail Mary possible (notwithstanding the defensive player messing around while the play was going on). And today, once again, he took no personal responsibility or blame and shaded his comments to point blame at his players. Maybe if he'd said, "Hey, that was my fault. I screwed up.", he would still have his job.
@foolmenow008 сағат бұрын
They may have given him courtesy to address media as he has done for 3 years at 10 am.
