I heard someone else say this I think it was on first take, but the Jets desperately need a quarterback they could trade Wilson to the Patriots and their first round pick for the Patriots #1. Pat would now have a very good receiver and then they could use that first round pick to get a tackle. The Jets can do what the Jets would do something stupid like taking sanders and then hiring Deion Sanders as the head coach. The media would be in a frenzy if they did that and it would bring so much attention to them.

Agreed. Maye is terrific, but the O-line is first, followed by the wide receiver. There are some other holes to be filled, but those two are crucial.

@ so please tell me what their plan is at quarterback? Two years ago when they traded for Rogers, I knew it would be a disaster. You can find my comments back, then saying it on so many channels. I even predicted Aaron would get injured early in the first season and be out for the rest of the year. I didn’t think it would be the first game lol. What’s the point of getting Higgins when you don’t have a quarterback to throw him the ball? That makes no sense, my friend. They need to Draft Ward or Sanders and hope that they turn out to be great.

@ I truly believe even if the jets don’t make the trade, they should try to get Sanders maybe trade with the second pick because the patriots aren’t taking a quarterback. Patriots desperately need a receiver and a lineman. However, you don’t think the Jets would hire Deion Sanders as the head coach if they drafted his child? Because I think that is definitely a jet thing to do. Patriots have the most cap so if anyone has a chance at Higgins, it’s the Pat they can pay him the most personally I would rather DK Metcalf. I know he’s not a free agent, but they can make a trade form.

I’m curious if Caleb and Jaden Danielle’s would do as good as Drake did when they have the worst line in the league and no weapons. So how good is this kid going to be once he gets some tackles to protect him and a couple good weapons. I see Jaden Danielle sometimes taking a nap with the line he has in front of him lol. He’s on the young side of 22. He’s almost a full two years younger than the other quarterbacks. Patriots need to build around him correctly and if they do, they can be a major threat within two years. Just like Detroit did, but they traded for a veteran quarterback, then built around him correctly.

The Jets are such a mess they have no one in charge, so Rogers just does what he wants, like take himself out of the last game and flat out just quitting on the team. If there was anyone left in the organization with a backbone, they would bench him for the last game and give the rest of the team a chance to hold their heads up and have some pride while they vie for their jobs and actually play as a team. Rogers has made them all a laughing stock.

Patriots need an offensive line first, and at least receiver (preferably a veteran player, they never should've let Jakobi Meyers go). The Giants are the same - they need more o-line help as well, and specifically a tall receiver (their entire receiver corp is made up of little slot receivers, they neee a basketball box-out 50/50 ball guy).

The Jets should have focused on getting a young quarterback for the past two years they desperately need one. They should trade Wilson and their first round pick to the Patriots. The patriots need a receiver and they can use that other pic to get a tackle. He hired two OC’s that became HC’s in Lafleur and Smith. Had some pretty good Titan teams. He’s a really good coach man. Better than at least 20-22 current ones.

Kafka was better at play calling than Daballs, DJ had his best year with Kafka calling plays.. Daballs has been awful as OC and even worse as HC. If they keep him and Schoen look forward to another 4 win season. Time to get a real GM and HC that have experience.

Joe's BFF is Chris Mara, so I doubt he goes anywhere. He's done a great job of sucking up and a horrible job of building an NFL team. Joe could've drafted Bo Nix, JJ and Penix last year, yet didn't.
