Do not sleep on Penix! He is a QB and pocket passer so injury should not stop any team from selecting him. Look at what happened to Joe Burrow knee, does that change the Bengals from selecting him? If Penix was playing any other position it would be a concern. Look at his sack % over the last 2 years, he does not get sacked. He gets the ball out fast and down the field at that!

I agree, especially after that Texas game in the college playoffs. If he wasn't hurt during the championship, they may have had a better chance in beating Michigan! And it's "Bengals" btw!

Atlanta get Fields make so much sense with the weapons they have. Add to the fact he'll be playing on fast indoor surfaces for more than half the season. As for Wilks as DC, i'm Niner. He did good things with the corners but we got gashed so many times. He failed to make adjustments so many times. The miscommunications caused the linebackers so many issues. At times you could see Warner and Greenlaw seething during games. Daniel Bullocks is the guy to watch out for.

@ericmaclaurin85258 ай бұрын
It would be disappointing if the steelers went with an old short term fix because they prefer fully developed instead of not yet developed even though it means in decline and almost retired instead of having any long term potential. Wilson over Pickett makes sense but I'd definitely prefer someone who is both better than Pickett but also has at least some long term potential.

Question any "draft expert" telling you that next year's QB class isn't going to hold a candle to this year's. Sheduer Sanders is further in his development right now than Jayden Daniels was this time last year and has more arm strength. If Carson Beck simply plays at the same level as he did this year he is right wherever you have Drake Maye today. Jalen Milroe could REALLY rise if he continues on the trajectory of the 2nd half of this season. Quinn Ewers has a better arm than Bo Nix and is ahead of where McCarthy was this time last year mentally. Jaxon Dart might be a dude.
@patrykkuffel26798 ай бұрын
Shedeur doesn't have a cannon though and isn't the runner Daniel's is. Carson Beck was ok but I don't think he has the physical talent of Maye. Milroy improved buy doesn't project to be a great pro. Quinn Ewers really struggles with accuracy. Has an absolute missile attached to his shoulder but really missed some throws last year and has wonky mechanics. Idk man it's gonna be tough to beat this year's QB class
@denniscarney52498 ай бұрын
@patrykkuffel2679 yeah, all of those can be true at the same time. I'm not out here proclaiming anything other than the assertion that next year's class is significantly worse is an asinine statement. Unless he really *is* McFly from Back to the Future, then we just don't know.

Quinn Ewers is there next year.

The levels of Accuracy and competition and feel Bryce young showed was crazy. JJ ran a run heavy offense with a top 5 OL the last 3 years with the best RB duo maybe with a soft schedule every year until the last game and playoffs. Where is a game that JJ just dominated and took over start to finish against a good team?

Bro thinks JJ McCarthy is a first round QB, but doubts corum as even a second round rb...
@GKA111118 ай бұрын
That’s just fact. No one is drafting a worn down running back in the first round, he probably won’t even go in the second. This ain’t Connor or Chris opinion, that is a fact. JJ McCarthy is gonna go first round or 2nd round. This is the nfl draft not the who was cooler in college draft. Running backs have no value unless you can catch like Bijan or breakaway speed like Gibbs. Do better
@garethjohnson85798 ай бұрын
Yeah, you can get guys for your RB stable in the later rounds. Corum isn't a stand alone type of RB. He's great as part of a stable sure, but those guys you take day 3. And lets be honest tandem and stables of RBs can be just as productive as having "that guy" in the run game and can be cheaper against the cap too.

The Vikings are driving me insane. In no world does their roster almost void of talent outside of WR and OT and with the highest paid TE in history begining his contract all busted up, are they close to winning a super bowl. Anyone who thinks that is completely delusional and they shoulf be committed to an insane asylum because we've been doing the same thing year in and year out without a franchise QB since the 70's. As such theyve had the best team in football in 98'and 09' and still didnt make the big game. Cousins is the guy that can throw for 4000 yards and 30 TDs every year and usually be "good enough" to compete for a playoff spot. THATS IT. People need to stop wasting my life away on this guy who will never get it done and he's already had 6 years to do it. Stop treading water and tear it down to the studs for all I care. Id rather them trade JJ and move up for a QB than to bring back Cousins again. Go let them both get paid somewhere else.
