This game felt so huge. Everyone was shocked when we went up 21-0 and then to go on and win, this was the first glimpse that you knew Saban was going to be special.

I was at this game, it was truly the game where I knew things were different! The previous five years, by the time we got to the end of the game, we were either trying to recover an onside kick or going for a 4th and impossible, and inevitably lose the game. When Saban ran off the field almost every fan was still in the stadium cheering him!

DJ Hall was Nick Saban's first top receiver nobody talks about. GIilbery was his top defensive lineman. DJ had all the recieving records. If Alabama had Pat White from Daphne instead of John Parker Wilson, Alabama would have more than likely won the NC or played in it.
