Mecca Payne nope. Try again, ray started playing 6 years before Sean played a down. And stop sucking on Sean, he might not of been good if he played longer, for example, Herschel Walker only played 3 years in the nfl as the best running back and he after 3 was horrible so stop calling him hof talent because he wasn’t.

I watched every second of the 2013 SB from a bar in Portland OR. I'm not a Ravens fan, since i'm from Ohio....but I hate the 49ers, and the Ravens giving them their first L in franchise history in the SB was the greatest thing I have ever seen. Ray Lewis, the greatest linebacker to ever play the game. Even if you hated him when he whooped your QB, you have to respect the way he played the game. Ferocious, tenacious, focused, driven....those are qualities to admire.

Jesus when you watch how the whole defense reacts to Ray getting a pick, it's like they're so used to switching into a punt return setup and just blind siding dudes while they make blocks down field for Ray. I grew up in England, now live in Australia. I can't even remember how I started watching the NFL but I remember seeing Ray Lewis & Ed Reed lighting guys up when I first started watching it and despite being a skinny little white kid, just watching them do it made me feel like I could run a hole through a freight train. The NFL now is a different ball game and we won't see guys like Ray Lewis again, man was this guy fun to watch.

Ray Lewis was always my favorite. He was my inspiration for loving defense and hitting hard. Out of the pads, I was a soft spoken nerd. In the pads, i felt like Lewis. Invincible, hitting everyone with everything I had, every play. I was overwight, so I played noseguard, but i wanted to play smart. I drilled my facemask and weight into the centers arms over and over and caused fumbles and sacks. Ray got me my defensive player titles when I played football
