The Cowboys dealt with a lot of injuries. Romo was injured during the season and a lot of the important players on defense were injured or suspended (Pacman) which led to the firing of the defensive coordinator and had Wade call plays up until his firing in 2010.

The weird thing about the old Cowboys stadium is that the field always looked like a mound, never flat from the position the camera was placed. It’s like the lighting inside the stadium plus the angle of the camera warped the look of the turf.

Johan Falck Actually Texas Stadium was curved, and QBs hated it. John Madden use to bring it up, when Aikman would make his outside throws to Irvin. That only Troy knew, how to make those passes. Brett Farve struggled a lot in Texas Stadium, because he hated throwing outside, the field dropped in. Its sides.

Man people don’t get how much us Eagles fans from the Philadelphia area hate the Cowboys.It’s prolly the biggest rivalry in Philly sports. The Flyers and Penguins is pretty nuts too. But this games intensity reminds me of the Eagles and Packers week 4 game this past season. Down to the wire and very exciting!! And btw we don’t hate Cowboys fans from Dallas or Texas. 2008 Cowboys....complete choke job. This team could have won the NFC...turning point of season was blowing a great defensive effort at Pittsburgh vs the eventual champs. Instead of being 9-4 full of confidence they left 8-5 and in shambles. Would only win 1 more game and end the season getting embarresed 44-6 by the Eagles in a win and in game

Most disappointing season in my life. The WR Roy William's trade really hurt our offense aswell. He couldn't get open to save his life and took away snaps from upcoming Miles Austin. Romo missing 3 games really hurt us. The last game vs Philly was torture to watch. So much talent on one team wasted. Not even qualifying for the playoffs hurt like heck.

Man that was a good game. I miss when football was like that. To me the huge difference, CBs were 5'10" receivers that couldn't catch, and LBs were big and slow (and there are usually 3 on the field). Today the CBs are big, strong, fast, and physical. And the LBs are WAYYYYYY more athletic and blow plays up. Luke Kuechly and a prime Sean Lee in this game at MLB would have ruined it.

I'm 19. This was my first memory of football. I was waiting for wwe to come on and watched this instead, watching romo pumpfake and fire deep to TO is what hooked me. And I've been hooked ever since.
