Randle was the definition of high motor. No one could match that intensity.

Watching John Randall compliment Miles Garrett in their interview really struck me. Randall, a legend in his own right, said, ‘My time is past, this is the future,’ showing so much respect to a current star. It reminded me of how many ex-NBA players from the ‘90s constantly criticize today’s players, claiming they’d dominate in the modern game. Instead of appreciating the evolution of the sport like Randall does, they’re quick to label the game ‘softer’ and downplay today’s talent. It’s refreshing to see someone as great as Randall embrace the future instead of tearing it down.

Myles Garrett is the scariest defensive players in the league today, so he is the modern-day Reggie White. John Randle is a legend in Texas who was a greatest defensive tackles to reckon with, so he was known for his very high motor and intensity. John Randle is originally from Mumford, Texas.

Nobody is scared of Garrett. He takes off so many plays off, and isn't a factor in the run game. But PFF will try to claim his win rate somehow makes him the best DE in the league.

@@Phoenix-pm2qrthat’s why the players were saying he was the best defensive player in the league.

One of the dumbest things I’ve heard them both say is that there is no incentive for getting a forced fumble on a sack? If you can take the ball away you win the game. The incentive is to win the game?? That’s why he Browns are the laughingstock of the NFL because Myles Garrett only cares about his stats. Which is why TJ Watt is more valuable than Myles, he consistently affects the game & takes the ball away. Oh I’m a Ravens fan btw. Very interesting to hear him talk about the o lineman and how he would track them My god Myles has a massive ego.

All NFL fans outside of Cleveland know TJ Watt is so much better. That's why so many fan bases were trolling Garrett and the Browns when he was handed DMVP. Fans know it was a joke

John and I are like this, fingers crossed. We go way back! JK I shook his hand once at an autograph signing at the Maplewood Mall in MN. This was in the late 90s. I think it might be time to wash that hand. jk

They're going to give this guy DPOY. The narrative started week 1. Stats be damned. This is the world we're living in.
