That's not someone I'd want on my team at all. How do you think that really makes all the other players feel? I mean really? Of course they're going to say he deserves it and show support, but in reality you know what they're really thinking and saying. That's not a team move and these guys are already way overpayed lets just be honest. It's a game. They're getting paid multi millions to catch a friggen ball at the end of the day. He's lucky he didn't get blacklisted by every team to teach him a lesson. At the end of the day, you're an entertainer and you catch footballs. You're not working on the cure for cancer. As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't want someone like that on my team at all. Its a cancer. What did they win with him btw? How many Superbowls did they get after paying him all that money? It's so many I can't even count.
@Blackphillipsupporter2 жыл бұрын
@@SourMlkSea I think they all understand that professional sports is a business first hand. Not everyone on the team is making millions, only a select few probably 10-15 out of 53. The contracts in the NFL are not guaranteed (besides the signing bonus) meaning the team can cut the player and not have to keep paying them. This is why Revis held out so many times. He had leverage and wanted to make sure he got paid what he felt he deserved. If any other player had the skill he had, they would do the same thing. Gotta capitalize while you can!

Danny Fuckin' Woodhead. Jets made a mistake to not keep hold of him just like Nebraska made a mistake to not offer him a scholarship so it's not the first time someone has had his potential greatness within their grasp only to pass on the opportunity. He proceeded to tear it up at Chadron State after Nebraska passed and made a great career for himself in the NFL after the Jets passed. One of the best players the 308 has ever produced. Also cool to see current Chargers HC Anthony Lynn as a position coach.

cutting woodhead is a perfect example of Rex inability to evaluate talent.. he was successful those first years off mangini's picks and player acquisitions, but in truth he missed horribly after Tanenbaum left, between him and idzik they couldnt spot an nfl player at a peewee game.

If Rex Ryan had a franchise quarterback instead of Matt Sanchez, the Jets would have won Superbowl with Ryan as the coach.

There are obviously a bunch of negatives things to be said about Rex Ryan, but this Hard Knocks kinda showed how the man can control a team and a room, I was a big Jet fan these two seasons cause of LT so I was watching a lot of the games and the team really just seemed way more motivated and inspired

They made Revis look like the bad guy throughout this, but they were trying to pay him $1 million for 2010 because of his old contract. Thats bullshit.
