@-_-Code-_-6 ай бұрын
I know this is old but with all the likes i have to ask.. You all realize a lot of rex's staff are literally still in power positions 15 years later right? Schotty is OC with DAL, Anthony Lynn is the RB coach in WAS(also was HC of LAC), Pettine is with the Vikings as Asst HC(also was HC of Cle and DC in GB), Kotwica is ST coach for the broncos. Unless you mean upper management but even then Tannenbaum isnt remembered as some terrible GM, he inherited a team that was being run by the owner, which was messy. I really never thought of rex's staff as horrid, sure Sal Alosi is a meat head. IMO the problem with Rex was always his own offensive philosophy but I understand we all see things differently.

Buffalo and Rex was a bad fit. I called it that off-season. I said "Rex is a 3-4 guy while the Bills were a top 5 4-3 defense the previous season, and Rex will either be lost coaching a 4-3, or he'll try to force them into a 3-4 when they don't have the personnel." He did the latter. They went from a top 5 defense the season before Rex, to bottom 5 under Rex.
