The following Pats game after this one would then change the NFL’s future. The Pats losing to the Titans not only lead to Brady’s departure, but it also allowed the new AFC powerhouses like the Chiefs and Bills to rise to the top and take over for years to come. Along with that, newer and younger AFC QBs filled the void left by his departure. The Pats after Brady was gone were no match for the new power in the NFL. So this game and then the AFC Wild Card game decided the NFL’s future in many ways. Sorry if it’s a long summary, but I just had to point out what happened next afterwards

Not really. Brian Flores wanted to jump on board the "life is unfair boat". Drafted a useless QB because Brian Flores thought there was not enough black QB's. But, the last I check, black players and coaches dominate the league, not to forget the NBA as well. Everything that happened post-dolphin, well I leave that to the lawyers. While I think history will mostly forget Fitzmagic, he really did bring us some of the greatest moments of all time. That image of him tossing up a prayer with his helmet turned around to basically win the game against the raiders really was something else. Played for 9 different teams, had a career passer rating of 82, and a fairly decent 223-169 TD-INT ratio. I don't think he'll make it into the HoF, unfortunately, but he's definitely one of the greats to me.

I feel like this game is what officially ended the Brady-Belichick era. If the Patriots win this game, Brady might stay in Foxboro and could still very well still be there today, and they would've possibly won the Super Bowl in 2020. I feel like this game is what drove Tom away from NE. They haven't been the same since this game.
