Want a really weird fun fact? From 2001 to 2019, the only 2 years the Patriots didn't win the AFC East was 2002 and 2008. In both of those seasons, the Division came down to a week 17 match-up between Brett Farve and Chad Pennington. A win from Brett would've given the Patriots the Division title, but both times, Chad Pennington prevailed over Farve to send his team to the playoffs.
