Imo I think this is what they were going with w overrated, I think they meant the other tracks from the artist shouldve gotten the same amount of popularity as Euphoria did. In my opinion, call it glazing but every diss from kendrick is a 10/10, it just sounds so different from each other its hard to compare, 6:16 in LA is super underrated. Euphoria is SLIGHTLY overrated but still a 10/10, meet the grahams is perfectly rated by the people, Not Like Us is overrated but its still amazing, overrated doesn't always mean bad. Euphoria is not overated, but I feel that people confused Kendrick's intentions with that song when it 1st came out. There was the rumor of Drake's "Big Red Button" that he was gonna launch a bomb at Kendrick, and as we know by now, Kendrick had a bunch of songs ready to go. Knowing that, Euphoria was a crucial piece in this battle, he's not saying stuff that other rappers already said because he was being "lazy" or whatever, he did it to paint this image of Drake not belonging in the culture, this hate towards Drake didn't come from envy or out of nowhere; Drake had issues with many rappers in the past, and Kendrick is putting everyone on the same page while also PREDICTING what Drake was gonna do, remember, *"Fabricating stories on the family front 'cause you heard Mr Morale."* Not to mention all the clever foreshadowing towards the sexual/PDF allegations that you can read in lines like *"You make music that pacify 'em, I can double down on that line but spare you this time", "We hate the bitches you fuck because they confuse themselves as real women", "Pay 500K to an open case"* (The 500k makes reference to Canadian dollars, not US dollars) *& "I bet you don't like women, you might pop ass with them."*

in my opinion, the most overrated track should be defined as the song in an artist’s catalogue which has the biggest difference between what you value it & the value given by the general consensus of the community. if i think a song is an 8 but most people think it’s a 10, that’s not as ‘overrated’ as compared to a song i think is a 2 with a song most people think is a 7/8. i agree with lu in regards to the streams don’t matter to the point where overplayed=overrated. it just comes down to the difference in perceived quality between myself & everyone else (generally speaking of course)
