Carbon has one of the best and most iconic OSTs in the franchise. I prefer Carbon OST over MW (although the pursuit OST is reused except for Pursuit OST #4), but that doesn't mean MW OST isn't a masterpiece. 1:29 Sounds like a fighter jet to me. To be fair, our cars are angry petrol thirsty monsters waiting to be unleashed to raise hell on the battlegrounds of Palmont City. Trevor Morris and Ekstrak should be proud of their work. Trevor Morris ended up composing the soundtrack of Dragon Age Inquisition and TV shows like The Tudors, The Borgias, and Vikings. That being said, it's my favourite NFS alongside NFS HP2010 and The Run.

Carbon is really underrated man.Toxic Nfs fans hate it only because it is "sHoRt".As a man that grew up with Ug2 i can calmly say that Carbon is miles better than the Underground games.How can you hate a game only for its shortness when its the most innovative game after MW.The Tuner,Muscle and Exotic classes is a really nice feature,the cops from Mw are still in this game,the story and concept with conquering territories is really cool and never seen in another game,the story is continuation after the events of MW and at the beggining i was really against composed music in races instead of EA Trax but with time i started to appreciate these compositions and realized how breathtaking they are with this one being my favorite.It really makes you feel that your life depends on the race you are doing.

@@AybarX Yeah and its also way ahead of its time.You will never see Midnight Club,Forza,The Crew,Gran Turismo or any other racing game doing the things that Carbon did.The Crew missed this opportunity badly because the game could've forced us to create our own crew so we can take out the Five Tens with it.Need For Speed fans really underrated Carbon instead of giving it a praise for what it is because objectively speaking,it is the best NFS after Most Wanted and it does a lot of things better than the Undergrounds and modern racing games.I can go with hours pointing out why NFS Carbon is so much better than Underground 1 and 2 but its pointless because you can see for yourself if you are not nostalgia blinded.Carbon is ignorantly criticised because of the gamelength which is really stupid and i dont know why are people exaggerating for a game that doesnt take 3 hours to complete but 6 to 7 hours at best which is good for a normal videogame.Its short compared to other nfs games which take 15 to 20 hours to beat but it doesnt matter how long is Carbon what matters is how the game entertains you for these 7 hours gameplay and Carbon does this job amazingly good.To be honest i prefer short and interesting games over long and boring ones *cough cough Underground 2 cough cough* .

Dude, you got exotic and tuner put in the wrong places. Remember that in the EA trax menu, you figure out that Tuners have electronic based music while Exotics have hip hop, or grime. Also, try these boss races with all the audio on zero except for ingame music, if this track is playing and you fall behind, you should hear 3:27 when racing Kenji and 5:32 When up against Wolf in their turf. How do people mistake this so easily? I dont get it.

Andrew Reid Actually each variant's of the crew races songs play when you fall behind and or a Cpu Driver of a minor crew get's 5 seconds ahead of the player for example The Scorpios have a higher chance of getting 5 seconds ahead of the player if the player does not have as many upgrades as the Scorpio driver cuz if you don't have as many upgrades as the Scorpio drivers when they attack your turf you got no chance of catching them unless your active crew member is Samson or Nevile cuz they can take the Scorpio drivers out for you. I know this from personal experience Cuz out of all the minor crews the Scorpios attacked my turf the most. I have Carbon on the Wii and Ps2 meaning I do not have the race wars race type or do I have 8 drivers in the race only 4.

Какой же офигенно звучит на 1:29, прям мурашки по коже. Умели же раньше делать музыку для нфс, которая прям держит в напряжении. Почему отказались и перешли на рэпчину не понятно. Рэп тоже не плохой бывает, но не повсюду и везде.
