Same. When I tried a build for the first time, it felt super familiar, but also like a fever dream. And although I really wanted to play the build for some time, I didn't, cause my brain just refused) idk, very strange

You know for an extremely unfinished beta build, the sound design is insane. Not only do all the sound effects seem to sound louder than the final game, but they also just sound better in general. The backfire sound for example, sounds like a gunshot and I love it. Also that R35 sounds stupid (in a good way), like It sounds like it has a turbocharger and a supercharger at the same time. There's also some wind sounds when going at higher speeds which I don't think were in the final game.

Yeah, sound is good for a beta build. I personally love the sound of the Nissan GT-R in this beta build. It does sound really good and it has an insane transmission whine and it's my favorite car, too! 😆 For reference, this is the only beta build that it sounds like that, i would have kept that sound for the final game. It's too good. But from my POV it doesn't matter since i can just play this beta build anytime i want. 👍

@@fahim2jz529 EA did rush them but criterion in the end chooses the direction to go with the game. It’s still the same game with blacklists, races, cops, they just changed the art style, made the physics worse, cut the story, and ultimately made the game a burnout ripoff.

This is seriously the best nfsmw12 beta stuff on the internet. I wonder, is it possible to get the beta content of nfs rivals? It seems to be more rare, because there aren’t many videos of it on KZbin. Tho some do exist

I think there are some public beta builds of NFS Rivals but i haven't really looked into running those builds yet.

Theres a lot of influence in Hot Pursuit and The Run in how this game was gonna be. Also i noticed that the safehouses were gonna be a thing in this beta, they are actually in the final game but they are innacessible unless you do a bug, its a shame that the Most Wanted 2012 we got was just a Burnount game with licensed cars and only the name Most Wanted on it.

As far as i know, it's impossible (at least for now) to do any kind of editing of the beta files. However, i could be wrong so it's probably better to just ask in the NFS MW 2012 Beta Discord server. Not really. In some builds it does but it's not the same like in MW05. It slows the game speed for like a second and then goes back to normal game speed.
