Yeah it is almost impossible, High res textures are not enough (and most of the time, they look bad on the old models), while remaking it on another engine requires them to copy prev physics completely, and that is... a fairytale honestly. Only lightning they can do imo

Most wanted has already been remastered for the 360 so I would get the HD version of it while its still decently priced but I would look out for Criterion’s next game as after Hot Pursuit it is evident that they are the only ones left that can make a competent respectable Need for Speed. Black Box are dead and I’m afraid even if they came back, after Undercover I don’t think they have what it takes anymore. Look for new experiences and be happy Most Wanted even happened as I’m even a shocked a game of that caliber was made within a year.

A remaster would be awesome. But a most wanted 2? Would be INCREDIBLY hard to fit into the series esp with "the driver" timeline, otherwise known as "Ryan cooper" due to prostreet putting a name to the driver. From underground to undercover is all linked, and the newer games even reference "him" payback with the old drift King, heat with the whole story between the R34, the 350z, the M3 GTR. There is so much, you'd have a hell of a time fitting it in. Not to mention, heat has been the closest NFS has come back to feeling like the old school games. I loved heat, since I could actually drive lines vs force slide everywhere

It's always good to see that the people who acted in the games are passionate about it. I heard a lot of hate around other games but the old NFS games are different. I would love to see a remake or remastered version of Most Wanted 2005 with the original cast, this video was great Kuru, it's always nice to see something like this! Good memories!
