When you drift you don't need any TC system or something else.. Only thing you need is a good feeling of physics in the game and (car in real life) And in the game with this car you have to drift in high rpm's from 5k to 9k+ cuz the car's torque is in high rpm's..2-3rd gear drifting it's the best..(depends the track) Hope i help you ;-)

Yeah, the problem is that the car drifts like crazy with 10-20% throttle on low RPMS and not really a lot of steering :D I can drift real cars but this just seem bugged :D Anyways thanks for your support :)

Go into tuning and turn down the steering lock. It helps A LOT for this car. I hated this car at first, but it came free so I wasn't complaining.

I could not get the hang of Turbo cars while drifting with a wheel in this game. The turbo lag really messes with a longer drift. For anyone else that has that problem, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 with every upgrade except turbo is the best car for long drifts, and for shorter smaller tracks you should probably use a S13 (again, every upgrade except turbo)

You don't need a drift car to play a drift event, most of the cars can be upgraded to A class, but not all of their handlings are best suited for tuning into drift performance. So many cars to choose from for drift events!

On some of those narrow race track, really need to use brake and hand rakes to induce faster turning of the car to drift! This game is easy because you can do 90 degree drifting out of cintrol on the straight part of the race track to gain XP points! But in most cases I just just speed and race like it's not a drift event, and still wins 1st or 3rd place most of the times using xbox360 gamepad. LOL! I'm pretty new at drift ratings! Only weeks old!

I can do it on medium difficulty, traction control = low, stability help = on, antilock brakes = on, came 1st place, using xbox360 gamepad, drive Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition or SLS AMG, best line off. Not even a single spin out of control doing all those laps. I have only 3 months using a gamepad to play racing games. Yeah, it's crazy to tune these cars, I'm a newbie at this too!

On this race track, upgrade the cars to the maximum level on the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition or SLS AMG, usually I need to control the kph to around 110 to 160kph in order to gain XP points while drifting. It's rare to gain XP points this fast in this video while only doing 80 to 90 kph ... May be he's using a steering wheel to play?

That how drifting is... You're loosing grip so you can swing the back end like a pendulum around a corner, all whilst turning the wheel to maintain that balance so you don't over steer it and spin out or under steer and straighten out. The Mazda RX-8 has a almost perfect front to back weight distribution so it's extremely easy to get to drift and to maintain mid drift. I drive and drift one in real life for you information.

Good game,good graphics,you can't buy ever car from memory from start because lack of money.Money is hard to get on this game,for example on GT1 races(The last set of races in career) you get $27,000 for winning the race with AI cars on hard,takes 5 and a half minutes to complete race .Most drift cost cost from $100,000 with all the good parts on.The rx8 on this video you win when you complete the drift set of races.theres a few drift courses in the career,no drifting on online tho.

The drifting in Shift 2 is only aided because you're playing as drift car driver, or a race car driver, not just some average schmuck off the highway. It's aided so you can do what the experts do. In real life, that kind of drifting would be impossible without hundreds of hours swinging the car around on a drift course, but you play as an experienced driver, other wise most people would spin out on the first corner.
