When it came to the closed course style NFS games, you gotta admit that ProStreet had a REALLY good recipe going for them. By far my favorite NFS. Loved the artwork, the soundtracks, the car choices, the events and different races, the courses, and the progression was so rewarding on my first time through. I likely have over 1000 hours clocked in on that game with about 10 different play throughs because I just HAD to keep reliving the fun I had

@@JohnUnsub I think that one can be NFS 2 since it's the one with cheats that let you play as really random things (a T-Rex for example). It was also posible to play as the police helicopter in the PS1 version of NFS 4, but I don't recall any UFO (I played mostly the PC versions). But yeah those cheats and secret unlocks like empire city in NFS 3 where really cool and it gave you an incentive to fully enjoy the game, another really cool unlock is the Mercedes CLK GTR in HP2 for PS2 you have to beat a 8 lap knockout in the highest difficulty without crashing.

The thing about nfs prostreet crashes is that crashing is a big part of the release, developers wanted us to crash. Fans feel, tweak, and map all car behaivours, which for that level of technology is very useful and brings results. Think of it as Madara Uchiha training with the same kunai, but it's uber-cool when HE does it.

A Pro Street 2 wouldn't be bad if done properly. More street loke tracks (Gunsai, Odaiba(Drift), ThunderHill, more public roads (Famous Winding roads, Expressways and Loop Lines), actual customization and actual physics. Having gimmicks like night events and special stunt events like police chases and bootlegging/moonshining basically being a battle machine style challenges.

Completed Carbon recently - Darius canyon duel was a complete joke, I simply passed him on my Evo IX and won the race. It was baffling as I distinctly remember that I had a hard time beating him when the game just came out.

it truly is, after 40h playng nfs heat, installed mw and instantly uninstalled heat. it was such a breath of fresh air of all the bulshit rpg nonsense they put and the cop chases are trash af, when i get damaged i feel a glitch took life and not the hit itself. the hit system in heat is so nonsensical its bizzare they even released it. in 2015 its the same frustrating bullshit. oh you tapped a bit the rear, spin that shit 1080 degrees and wait a minute to continue... not to mention races in these games feel scripted af. i love the graphics but jesus christ are the more modern nfs games autistic. so yeah mw is the best nfs without a second thought.
