Today, I'm going to showcase all cars and their top speed! All cars are maxed out with stage 3 parts, and I've used the highway drag race to test them. Also I've used "Unlimited NOS" and "No Blown Engine" trainers to find the best and most accurate results. Enjoy!

I used the parts that the game offers in "customize ride" I do not know there in your maybe on the console for the computer has some difference .. @@MR80YT however there are some cars that are faster than the others to reach a certain speed, the skyline is very heavy and it takes a little longer to reach a certain speed .. we would need a totally straight track with infinite nitro to reach the maximum car :/

Do you try 2 upgrade of transmission on rx-7? So, when you shift to 6 gear, you get about 3-4 thousand rpm, but not 7 thousand as usual. When I tried I reached 400km/h, but there was not a limit and I did not use the "inlimited NOS" and "no blown engine". If not, try to do so.

Although all the cars sound funny and inaccurate, I like them just for nostalgia. Body kits are thicc (especially on hatchbacks) and some of them just look so good or uncanny on the car. Ik that some of the body kits are reused in NFSU2-NFSUC but they still look better in this game. More thing to point out: Most cars in this game have 4 or 6cyl engines like the Celica, Supra, 350z, and Skyline. but the 350z, and Skyline R34 have I6 sounds (although the RX-7 does use their sound files but it has a higher pitch) either sounds like an I6 (350z/Skyline) or a Ferrari 4.0L V8 like the RX-7.

Addon cars should have the same top speed (as far as I know it is just a different texture and settings related to wheels, not performance). You could play around with NFSU2 car hacker (configurator)

@@MR80YT some nonsense, with the help of the HEX editor, I put an infinite nitro and that the engine would not explode, so the cars do not accelerate close to your indicators . RX7 is only 389 and does not go faster + with Js settings, so I think it all depends on the version of the game or build

sorry man but I doubt the accuracy of this test. The more times you check something (in this scenario driving a car in a straight line, trying to get a top speed), the more accurate the results are. Video, and such topic are interesting ofc, just speaking about correctness of a such test

The main limiting factor for the lower half of the field is the gearing. In UG1/2, bouncing off the rev limiter momentarily reduces your speed, so no matter which way you put it, the cars that dip from their perceived top speed before the finish line have shown all they can give, and on that note it's accurate. The other half of the field, which reached increasingly higher top speeds without bouncing off the limiter, are harder to test. There's no track in the game longer than this drag race, and definitely nothing both long and straight to get a better top speed measurement. Plus, other vehicle characteristics like grip and especially acceleration have higher relevance. In essence this test only shows the theoretical top speed (or close enough to it that it doesn't matter) for every car in UG1, which in regular play it will never reach barring extreme physics glitches. It still provides some very intriguing results.
