【Nゲージ規格鉄道模型】TOMIX 200系200番台 F編成 東北・上越新幹線/200-200 Series F Organization Tohoku Joetsu Shinkansen

かつて東京と盛岡・新潟を「やまびこ」「あおば」「あさひ」「とき」「なすの」「たにがわ」として結んだ元祖東北・上越新幹線の「緑の疾風」こと200系新幹線です。その内の、短編成化により中間車両から先頭車に改造された200番台を組み込んだF編成です。1992年から2005年までの姿です。
特徴は何といっても先頭車両です。それまでの0系タイプの団子っ鼻のラウンドノーズとは違い、100系タイプのシャークノーズと呼ばれる形状をしており、東海道では違う形式なのに、北ではすべて同形式という少し変わった形態でした。
同じ形状をしている新造車両の2000番台とはルーバーの位置やパンタグラフカバーの位置などで違いを見せています。また、H編成とはピンストライプ塗装が除かれたりとこれまたちょっとした違いを見せてくれます。
編成は他のF編成と同じで、当時の新幹線の標準装備であったビュッフェ車両なども連結しています。しかしながらこの編成はF5,F8,F40と3編成のみ存在し、珍しい車両であったことは確かです。
リニューアル工事の成されたK編成とは違い、こちらは特段延命工事等も施されることなく、わずか10年程度でH編成とともに姿を消し、近年では「ウソ電」の一種と認識されることもあるんだとか……。もしこちらにも延命がなされていたら北の新幹線も少し面白みがあったかもしれませんね。

The feature is the leading vehicle after all. Unlike the round nose of the 0 series type dumpling nose, it has a shape called the 100 series type shark nose, and although it is a different form on the Tokaido, it was a slightly different form in the north.
It shows differences in the position of the louver and the position of the pantograph cover from the 2000 series of new vehicles that have the same shape. Also, it shows a slight difference from the H formation, such as the removal of the pinstripe paint.
The formation is the same as other F formations, and the buffet cars that were standard equipment on the Shinkansen at that time are also connected. However, this formation exists only in F5, F8, F40 and 3 formations, and it is certain that it was a rare vehicle.
Unlike the K formation, which was renewed, it disappeared with the H formation in just about 10 years without any special life extension work, and in recent years it has been recognized as a kind of "Usoden". There is also ... If the life was extended here as well, the Shinkansen in the north might have been a little interesting.
