This is amazing to watch. Seeing how you replicated that sound effect from the track shows how dedicated you are to replicating not only the hearing but also sensing the feeling as if you are there. I didn't know all it takes is a pair of bus-graded windshield wipers to make it.

Thank you for your very nice comment! I am happy to have you enjoy it.
The fact that you were able to faithfully recreate the sound made when the train passed by the camera was incredible! Have you ever considered making switches to go with those tacks?

Thank you for good comments from overseas. I'm thinking of cutting the tap at intervals of sounds. I will challenge you from now on, so please have a look again!

Love your videos & engendering from way back when you started . Still enjoy . This is best explanation of expansion joint on Japan rail network . We down here in AU don't have seismic activity like Japan , so we don't have many expansion joint . The big plus is you recycle / reuse . ;-) Keep good entertain video coming . Thank you .

its also possible to recrate the sound by slighty pulling the track apart at the unijoiner. experimenting with it made me realize how large of a gap the Amtrak ALC42 can cross. This is incredible work!
