Only in the last 2 years have I shown any interest to football outside the big international tournaments. And this channel was a great little discovery. It hadn't even dawned on me until very recently just how much football there is to enjoy in this little island. Just last week I discovered there are 2 non league teams literally walking distance from one another in my home town.

I am much more attracted to the lower division and non-league game than I am to the premierships these days. The leagues are less predictable, the stadiums look like pleasant places to watch a match in, all wide-open and lots of scenery beyond the pitch, and you see more community passion for the game and the local sides. I've been trying to catch as many English non-league games as I can find on KZbin along with German third division and regionalliga action, and small leagues around the world. When you get past the idea that the money-soaked Premiership-level game is all there is, you discover a whole world of football beyond it. It's fantastic.

I was following Ellis' channel when he was concentrating almost entirely on non-league and some of the content was hilarious. My favourite video was a Dereham Town match in which some of the local "ultras" barracked the opposition non-stop. An opposition player went down with what turned out to be a broken leg and their reaction was "Get up you f***ing drama queen!" The standard of football at a non-league game is unlikely to be the same as in the PL or EFL but you might be lucky enough to see a player who does make it to the big time; you're more likely to see former players coming to the end of their playing careers. The late Martin Peters ended his playing career at Gorleston F.C.

Keep doing what you're doing, I'm glad vloggers are highlighting the wins and benefits of supporting non league football, I'm a fan of an 8th tier northern premier League side and have loved every minute of it since turning up at the ground in 2017 the players thank you for coming, the tickets are cheap and I'm supporting my hometown by being there. I do a bit of groundhopping too and you can't beat the welcome you get at a non league ground compared to often no welcome at all at a league one!

Gonna try and visit a Reading game next time i'm over, hope they win ther last game though or they'll relegate to league 1... that's awesome you went to see the Eredivisie, Ajax Feyenoord 2-3, wern't the best game for me as an Ajax supporter but the atmosphere was still great! How'd you find it? Our 2nd division has some smaller teams and the highest acadamy teams of Fc utrecht, PSV, AZ and Ajax in there which not everyone is happy about but teams like Heracles, Zwolle and Willem 2 are big names with big fanbases in there that were in the Eredivisie for a long time before! Zwolle and Heracles already promoted again though
