I believe matters to do with finances is the main issue here,I also suffered almost something similar to it though mine wasn't acid it's just one eye and I experienced total blindness of the eye after I seek help I was told nothing much can be done to it,I learn to live with it,I know technology has advanced in other places but now the finances are the main issue, so I learnt to accept and adjust and live to see with one eye
