I don't know if any one has noticed but for years and years, Manipur state has been transporting their goods through Nagaland... Dimapur to Kohima to Imphal. And thats how they slowly developed their state. Currently the development of Imphal is close to Guwahati, and no district in Nagaland is even 30% of what Imphal is now. This fact alone speak volumes of the management/govt. in/of our state - Nagaland.

As a manipur Naga that's because all the central government funds 90% of it is allocated in Imphal hill region is ignored. All the good health institutions and education institutions are in Imphal and hill region are barely funded everything is undeveloped in hill region and most of the roads are dirt road. About Nagaland, I am not sure if all of the central funds in allocated at one region

You see, at least your govt has focused on developing a town into a city - a real city not only in name, but in traits and characteristics rivaling the most advanced place in NE i.e Guwahati. The roads and infrastructure of Imphal is well planned and structured. But look at us. I am sure our state is funded by the centre just like your state. But where is the development? The developments we had in recent years are just some outward coating. The point of my original comment is that even though Manipur had to use our roads and cross our state with goods and services to develop their state, their development far exceeds our state. If our Govt had also focused on real development, our State would have faster development. The only development we see here in Nagaland is our CM and his ministers owning more land, constructing more private hotels and resorts under their name. Also we force ourselves to take pride in the fact that our CM is also one of the richest man in Nagaland. Under Top 10. Also thanks to our own Naga people who seem to be suffering from Short term memory, and whose mouths can be shut with Rs.500. Here in Nagaland even if we speak the truth, we will be asked to write an apology letter. Sent to jail etc.

I think might be true God do really loved nagas from beginning but sadly seeing by our own eyes nagas chose wide gate instead of narrow gate. tribalism, hatred, corruption's, sexual immortality, wrong teachings,etc many evils practice just recently the nlpt act law was passed by government n many general public supported knowingly it was wrong we denied god if we continue like this many destruction may come we have been warned by prophecy . Better road quality and connectivity is the backbone for any economic activity. And only through good network of roads can any state progress towards development and thereby improve the living conditions of its people. High time Govt. undertand this fact and do something about our roads not just highways but town and village road networks as well on a war footing priority.

There are loads of advanced techniques and technology to determine the landscape prone to rock slide and landslide and moreover it doesn't need a technical expertise to realise that the particular area is landslide or rock slide porne area for real it is literally called paglapahar you should question the government what geotechnical survey Or arial survey Or sesmic Or soil and pore pressure survey was conducted to determine that the particular strech of road was safe to construct and if they followed the guidelines if any provided by the CPWD or what are the preventive measures if any they took to prevent the already prone paglapahar stretch or did they cut any major corners or they accidentally or politically cut corners all this could have been avoided and everyear people are dying due to this rock slide Or landslide issue in the new highway is their life not enough or do more people need to die more for our eyes to open someone is responsible either the engineer knew and still did the same or due to political pressure or monetarily benifit but personally for me I refuse to believe that the highly qualified engineers of NHIDCL didn't know about this prone area

Whether it's Kohima, Dimapur, Wokha, Zunheboto, Mokokchung, or Mon etc we should not make distinctions. Just because the capital and commercial hub is in the Angami area doesn’t mean it belongs solely to them; it belongs to all Nagas. We should focus on development across all parts of Nagaland rather than criticize the areas that have seen little progress. Every five years, we have the chance to cast our votes and choose leaders who represent our interests. This means that no one has the right to complain after misusing their voting privilege. The current state of our government reflects our collective choices, and we must take responsibility for that. Instead of grumbling, let’s engage wisely in the political process. Our votes can change the future of our state. Let's commit to choosing leaders who prioritize development for all Nagas in the next election.

I guess in India we don’t have great Engineering who can build the roads knowing the roots of cutting the road. That's the main problem, In Switzerland 🇨🇭 I have even seen roads like ours but never happened landslides because cutting the road is unbelievable.

Withoutt tell how could one can know so Iam sharing in this comment in jesus name..Well God anger is already working in Nagaland like thel prophetic words giving some months ago, who said God is coming to fight for his innocent victms. And when.I see all this dissaster happening in our land Nagaland, I thought this is the time to tell to Naga people, s who loves and fear God in order to fight corruption. What I want to say is negllecting this innocent victm case will bring God wrath to each an every family too( prophetic words).cos by God grace the victm is still alive willing to share to some christian innocent public how this victm was saved miraciously by Almight God from the hands of one of our own Naga culprits groups who works for non local Dimapur to earn money in order to look after their family and childrens by blindly spoiling or blackmailing othher innocent children. When this story reveal by victm itself than only youll know how worse are these culprits group in Nagaland. After that only..we will be bliss by God Amen.
