People forget how great NHL 14 EASHL drop in was back in the day. This fighting engine was new with 14 and every 6v6 drop in match ended in a line brawl slug fest.

They should bring it into NHL25. Make it happen during rivalry games, when they're many penalties given so that it makes sense

I’ve always thought they could do more with the AI, such as yeah, if the physicality in a game is ramping up the likelihood for responses also increases

Realistic ai tendencies and dynamic ai? Nah never. They can't even get your teammate ai to stand still on the power play, or stay inside the offensive zone on pp or breakout properly. Been like that forever. Also the opposition ai is even worse, they simply play keep away, ride the back of your jersey and strip you of the puck like your an ohl vs nhl team. Games a joke

Not even mentioning that you ai won't board battle AT All, they literally exit the zone on the powrplay when I'm in behind the bet battling for the puck... Wtf?

That's pretty damn cool, dude. Nice job! I used to play around a lot with the EA NHL games too back in the day. I remember in NHL 2004 I had duplicates of Tie Domi, all 18 skaters and both goalies all named Tie Domi and looking like twins every one of them. Tie Domi's likeness in NHL 2004 was pretty good in my opinion, and you could just go into create a player and copy his name and the game would ask you if you wanted his real life likeness and attributes. Won the Stanley Cup like that as well and it looked funny when Tie Domi passed the cup to the next guy, which of course also was Tie Domi. And all the Domi's took their individual victory laps with the cup and later they all went for the team photo and 20 Tie Domi's was in the shot. I also did like a "training camp fight" in NHL 21 or 22 where I dressed both teams in the same jersey and started a fight. I believe I created the Flames 1986-87 roster and had Tim Hunter fight teammate Nick Fotiu while Al MacInnis, Gary Roberts and Lanny McDonald just stood around and watched them go at it.

Most I’ve had was 2 fights at once and that was because upon accepting a fight another player made a hit at the same time and the cpu jumped him so two fights broke out

Did you set the fighting to often. And have fight's on 2/2 you don't have to do it but if you don't you are more likely to get pushing than fights​@@TrentonGeorge-ce6fq

Haha so are there 30 mins of penalties each? It didn’t really show on the menu screen. I wouldn’t be surprised if NHL would just glitch out and not have any penalties or record the minutes.

Diddy Kong does not and hates hockey and nhl games. I believe the game actually does work here and gives all players 5 minutes with the goalies getting 2 mins but that's what happens every time the goalies fight however I can check later to make sure
