WE NEED BETTER ROSTERS ON DAY 1. So many prospects missing. I have to wait 2 weeks for Vasyrosters to release his custom roster

The franchise mode changes were very nice. Love the UI overhauls. Nice QOL changes. Did they change enough? No not really. But we got some nice changes. Sadly we probably won’t see more franchise mode updates for a few years. I wish they’d bring back the old+better TV presentation. The presentation/commentators are horrible. Same 2 cutscenes. Same post game cutscene. Shitty ass generic goalie masks. No option to customize them. I do think the game is worth it. But it’s not a home run by any means.

You're insane. This game is not a 7, or 8, it's a 5 at best. Franchise mode hasnt change enough to justify thay score.

Online franchise, Madden got it

Those who say well Madden got it need to understand that development doesn't work like that. They are given a certain budget based on how well the game sells and work around that. So when they have a small development team and a small budget, they have to really pick and choose what sees improvement. Lets face it, a mode that makes them no extra potential revenue is going to likely be last on the improvements list. Madden is one of the bestselling sports games every year so it's going to see more new features and improvements (at least to the money-making modes). NHL is probably the least popular of the four major sports, especially when it comes to video games.
