Love that you not only open your reward packs and also to help decide what to use collectibles on for the holiday event, but you also show ways on how to make things easier in the game. I got Connor Bedard MSP but so far he is kind of not as good as I thought he would be but honestly I’m only doing the MSP’s do get McDavid since when I tried him out during this week’s Wildcard, he was making goals left and right, including a blazing snapshot for a goal that knocked off the goalie’s bottle before flying out of the net. He is I think the most broken player item in the game so far.

McDavid is the best card in the game, I doubt there will be as good MSP as he is next week. If you don’t plan to make his X factor it’s a no brainier to make him. I try my best to show all the ways of playing for not so skilled people as me who still need to win and make decisions on who to make

I am from Edmonton Alberta Canada and in the 90's Ryan Smythe as awesome he played with the Oilers from 1994 to 2007, him and Doug Weight played with NYR from 1990 to 1993 and was traded to Edmonton oilers and played there until 2001. I also have a team Canada jersey signed by Ryan Smythe.

That’s sick. Didn’t know he ever played for Rangers so technically he can be used for my NYR team. I watched some highlights from his time in Edmonton but now need to find some from NY as well

So am I the only one with no interest in making the mcdavid card? I really am liking the bedard and ottenger card. I already have a solid center core and mcdavid will completely change my teams approach.

It’s your team, always make the cards you think will help you the most, I never understood why to chase cards with the best stats if you don’t like the player or just find other cards better. I never chase meta cards because everyone says they are good, if it will improve my team and I am good with the card I will make it, otherwise - no, thank you.

Change controller settings to totally control, press square then shoot.

Total control - press square and aim to net

Right click, then toe drag and shoot by pressing up. I can't play on total control. It's too hard to change lines quickly during the game

Icon passing is where you use buttons to on the screen to pass to specific players, so it makes the skilled one timers easier to pull off and stops you from making a crappy pass.

@@dallaz7048 In your game visual settings, see if the icon passing is turned on. Also, akke sure you got the latest update as it was added back yesterday with a small patch

@DinoKrista I checked in visual settings, and it was turned on. Might have to manually initiate the update. A few too many errant passes without icon passing. Giving up breakaways....😡😡

The best event we had so far this year imo. Like every MSP but want to see a week two just to see who will be the goalie and maybe some good forwards, I am tempted to make Jake O but it would be a stupid move I guess 😂😂😂

i made the exact choices you made. Im also considering Otter. All these years its always been a set rule to never waste resources for goalies. But idk maybe its worth it for him

I think the rule should be - make who you want and don’t listen to others. If the goalie is someone you want to make it, your fodder - make it. If it turns out bad or can be the same as any other MSPs, like I made Barzal and regret it every day as he isn’t that good as I was expecting him to be

Icon people ? It’s icon passing, hold R2 and you will see icons and press any you want to pass to that player

I just finished the objectives for week 1 of the current event, which means I kept 85 Letang and then next week on Friday I’ll be claiming McDavid because honestly he is spectacular. But I’d like to know what is different between MSP McDavid and X-Factor McDavid?

I think his MSP is better imo because of EE and silver wheels but that’s my personal preference, who knows what abilities his X factor will get once they release the TOTY upgrade

It’s icons on top of the players heads when you hold R2 to decide who you want to pass, it helps with pass accuracy so the past 95% goes to player you choose

In Div3 diagonal icon pass still is reliable, in Div2 you have to cheese and glitch the game. I hate getting near Div2. EA should reset each season divisions.

If we would have some kind of rewards in Rivals it would make sense but at this point Rivals aren’t really anything else than XP or prestige if you are D1 player.

I made seider he's pretty good and noticeable unlike other msps I've tried but I'd definitely not waste your resources on a goalie IE oetinger I've literally him up in various games and I'm not great at the game I've been happy with 83 cossa height and speed been enough

Anyone having trouble playing. Wild card. Every game it plays my 2nd line no other line change. I have McDavid but I can’t play him because of the line freeze. Is it just me?

I have no issues but I heard others also had this issue, could it be something to do with strategy where you start your 2nd line instead of 1st? Just guessing

D2D 1 timers are fair game if your opponent isnt defending it. Those guys left it open over and over, nothing wrong with punishing it everytime, this isnt charity hockey, no explanaiton needed!

@@savjakob7838 Everyone does it to score goals, it’s in the game, there are literally 4 ways of scoring goals as far as you are not D2 and above player, if someone pulls their players out of position so I have a clear way of scoring it - I will take it, same goes for cross creases, tip shots or breakaways
