Sears was giving this game away for like $5 bucks. I never watched enough hockey to love it. Popped this game in the sega cd. Took the offsides off, and fell in love with this game! This game made me love and appreciate the sport of hockey!❤️

My friends and I played Blackhawks, Redwings and Sharks in rotation, winner stays with bong hit reward or punishment for scoring a goal, eventually the winner was too baked to be any good, we had some serious laughs and lots of fun, but we did get really good at the game.

In my view, NHL '93 and '94 were the pinnacle of 90s hockey games, and as for the latter, it remains an irreplaceable game that captured the essence of that era and stands beside the greatest hockey games of all time.

Had to play the SNES version if you wanted accurate jersey designs. Sega was recycling code from NHL ‘92.
