NHL 95 gameplay (PC Game, 1994)

best game ever. but i had '94 w/ the disks. But now I can play on dos box. i still have the stats i kept and typed up of all 3 seasons i played. Tikkanen scored over 100 goals in my last season.

The music in this game is taken directly from the Sega CD version of NHL '94

The "EA Sports Arena" seen in the intro seems to be based on the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. In fact, all the interior shots of the arena seen in the Scouting Report, the Pause Screen, and the "See You Soon" screens are all from the Pac Coliseum.

Is there any gameplay diffrence from snes and megadrive? Looks and seems to play like on consoles only diffrence from them is the aestethics

I remember you needed good monitor to play this because the resolution was really high by 94 standards.

I think it was a 320x200 in VGA mode. Not sure if there was also a SVGA, but I doubt as I think it was introduced 1 or 2 year later

wow ok. This is the worst version I have seen. There's is no way people were buying PC's over a Sega Genesis to play nhl 95. Players skate slow. Missing a 1 timer from that close would probably result in a goal in the genesis version. Yes while this has the better sounds and presentations, nobody is playing hockey games because they want to see a ref or the scoreboard effects etc. People want fast pace hockey games not this pc version where it takes 20 sec for a line change.
