@@gregorsmith how so? According to a quick google search tickets for this “all star” game range from 250-600$. Based on what I see here this looks like a bunch of guys playing some pickup hockey, I’d be upset if I paid to watch this. Luckily I didn’t but I get what norms saying here. You pay to watch best on best hockey & it looks like they are playing at 40-50% 🤷‍♂️!

@@norm6973 This is so short sighted my dude. 1.) Players are told, explicitly, to play at lower intensity, no checking, etc. These games don’t matter for the regular season standings, so why would anyone risk getting hurt by playing hard for an exhibition game? 2.) Don’t blame the players, blame the organizers of the ASG. 3.) The only thing that matters is winning the cup. Period. As someone else stated, if they want players to actually play, these games need to have an impact on the regular season, which they never will.

The all star game needs to have something on the line to really play for. Maybe something like whatever conference and division wins it then they would get home ice advantage for whatever teams are in the Stanley cup finals. I'd love to see these teams play an actual game but I guess we have the Olympics again for that now.
