I got a few, and obviously I’m biased so please forgive me... 1) Jumbo Joe ends the Kings season in game 6 in OT in 2011. Randy Hahn EXPLODED, and so did I. 2) Tomas Hertl’s 2OT winner last year in game 6 at Vegas, but you gotta use Dan Rusanowsky’s call on Sharks radio if you can find it. Again, many explosions took place. Great video bro!

@@prezidentjeff - Yea, just shows you how strong of a will these players have to want to play the game of hockey. He could have just called it a game and nobody would have said a word and yet he comes out scores that goal when he should not have been playing.

I think you mean rick jeanneret, he is the only announcer to stay with a team for this long, the sabres never won a cup and they have not made the playoffs in 9 years. So i think he deserves it the most.

One of the things I really love about hockey, when you need a good call in the playoffs you almost ALWAYS get one. There are so many brutal NFL and MLB calls but NHL calls are almost always great.

@@EileenDover988 Randy is just so great in so many ways, I'm surprised more people around the league don't talk about him that much when they bring up top broadcasters. He's knowledgeable, entertaining, funny, classy and just straight up cool, like the kind of dude you can watch games with on the couch and just vibe over a few drinks. If only we could get Drew back though...

Jeanneret is the greatest, but one call I'll remember forever (though I can't remember who called it) is from Evgeni Malkin's playoff hat trick goal against Carolina in 09. Geno's parents were in the crowd. The announcer went bananas. KZbin it, it's great.

i remember watching that last one live back in 2014. im a die-hard wings fan and they got knocked out in like the 2nd round but the playoffs are just too exciting for me to not cheer for someone. So I chose LA over NY. It was like 11pm on a school night in june and my dad wanted me to go to bed and i was like hell no! he let me have 5 more minutes. im so glad that martinez put it in before my time was up! I was screaming so loud i woke up everyone in the house! Of course the next day i resumed being a wings fan.

I'm a Flyer fan, but I have to admit, Rick Jeanneret had some great, great calls, and not just "May Day," which I remember watching on TV when I was in high school. I really liked the one back in the '90s, I think it was, when Buffalo was playing Ottawa and scored a sudden death goal. The call was "Are you ready Legion of Doooom? Here come the Buffalo Sabres!"
