Why does the announcer always sound surprised when the Habs score?

I’ve seen Montreal win the Stanley cup many times in my life but this series for same reason seems to be the most exciting hockey I have ever experienced. Thank you Montreal. I will always be a fan no matter what.

this team was elite. I remember the moment of the lehkonen goal. it was beautiful. hopefully in the next couple years we can relive this and get the same feeling. But price was something else, and the caufield and suz duo was born here. that Perry line aswell was pure grit.

only two things missing from this otherwise sterling effort: -Romanov leveling Pietrangelo in game 1 of the VGK series -Cournoyer, Guy, and Roy in the skybox during game 4.

Let me start by saying this video is amazing and needs to be spread. I also share the attitude that a hockey player is a hockey player regardless of race, gender, or financial situation. Myself, wife, and daughter all play, and I understand we are very fortunate . As I said, this video is amazing and needs to get out there. Much respect from Canada, Ontario

This video is f*cking stupid WHY is there so much pressure on the Oilers by Media ? Leafs haven’t won a final since 1967… Oilers lost in 2006 to Hurricanes but it’s been 30 years since the last Canadian team won the cup in 1993 ( Canadians) and the Oilers won before that… WHY ARE THE STANDARDS HIGHER GOR THE OILERS THAN EVERY OTHER TEAM IN CANADA.. fucking stupid.. Leafs Fans write crap like this believing McDavid is moving to Toronto the second his contract is up.

Ugh couldn’t watch to the end. Watched the decade of darkness already. So brutal. I can barely watch the oilers now they’re better but Leon and Connor don’t look like they use too. I don’t know they are going to make playoffs this year but I don’t think they’ll make it past 1st round. They haven’t been dominant this season. I don’t know I watched to many years of then sucking. Now they have a good team but I still think they lack in defence even with ekholm and goaltending skinner… Maybe they’ll prove me wrong I don’t think so. I’m not optimistic anymore. I expect the worst. Sorry Oilers no hard feelings. But I’ve been watching over a decade now.

this exact video defines what being a true habs fan means. rewatching this legendary run year after year and crying buckets reliving those moments in your mind . i will always love the habs since they gave me this on the first year i really started watching hockey. they gave me some magical moments to share with my family and my grand parents, i remember going on a 30 min drive every game to go watch it at their house. incredible moments and most of all to a bright future.🍻

The fact that dog shit teams can make runs like this legitimately discredits the sport imo.

Whatever team you bandwagon for wont get this far, Price and Webers leadership is what catapulted this team and its players to success and elevated everyone else on the teams play

And after the Bruins won that Cup, Vancouver burned their whole city to the ground pretty much. You hate to see it go that far. Bruins worked their way back into the series hard and took the W.

They got there because Canuks had a total melt down at tne end and if they had had to play the Sens two more games they would not have gotten to the playoffs. And where are they now, at the bottom where they belong. Love hearing Mtl. fans living in the past , cause they have no future.
