Ovechkin saved hockey in Washington, when his career is over, there will be a statue in his honor, at the entrance of the Capitals rink.

Ovie is such a talent. I'll take him on the Rangers any day. He seems like a lot of fun. He loves the game and he is exciting . Feel for him loosing his brother. God Bless him. I don't like the capitals, but I hope ovie get to win a cup. He deserves it.

I like Don Cherry, but he has a serve bias against Ovechkin. Does it date back to this interview? I noticed throughout this Stanley Cup-winning post season, they rarely talked about the Caps on Coach's Corner. When they did, Don usually downplayed the Caps' success. If I'm not mistaken, he also picked against the Caps in every series including when he wore a Vegas Golden Knights suit jacket to the game 1 broadcast. He also mocked Ovechkin's emotion on the bench during "The Save", praised diving creampuffs like James Neal throughout the Final while making almost no positive comments about any Caps player other than Holtby, and was visibly upset at how dominant the Caps were and how many goals they scored on Fleury. Ron even started to ask if he shouldn't give some credit to the Caps' skill level, but Don cut him off and essentially said it was all Fleury's fault then whined about how Winnipeg couldn't score in the previous round. I think Don was absent from all post game coverage after the Caps had won, presumably off in a huff somewhere, because I saw every other CBC broadcaster but him. Very sad because I do enjoy Don's analysis when he is on point, but he missed enjoying a spectacular Cup run from a truly special team this year by rooting against Ovechkin for personal reasons.

Next to Gretzky, Ovi is my fav player. Very rare for a offensive scoring machine to also be a physical player who lays people out

The girl that's interviewing Ovi is basically deciding if she wants to ride him like a pony if you know what I mean and I bet you do.
