As a British Panthers fan I stayed up to watch this, puck drop was 1am, my plan was to watch and at least get a couple of hours sleep before work. TV coverage finished at 7:30am… Wouldn’t change it for the world though. What a game! Go Cats!

Longtime Canucks fan living in Vancouver here. For about a week now, I've been getting the feeling that the Panthers are a team of destiny. Dallas is the least likely to win, not a fan of the GKs and have a friend who lives in NC so Hurricane SC championship wouldn't bother me. But there's something about the Panthers that makes me feel like they're going to be hoisting the Cup at center ice in three weeks. We'll see what Carolina's response is. But to lose a game that was essentially 2 games in one, that's gotta hurt.

Sixth Longest game in Playoff history! The two longest are from the 1930s. So 4th longest in modern history. The longest of those, on May 4, 2000, was Flyers vs. Penguins in 152 minutes, 1 second. (5 OTs). Meanwhile, this game was 139 minutes, 47 seconds. So really only a difference of about about 12 minutes!! Definitely an exciting night. I LOVEEE when a game goes into multiple overtimes. It's soo much more exciting to win it. Enjoy it Panthers fans!!

This game made me remember of the 5th OT game in the 2000 playoffs when Keith Primeau hit the game-winning goal versus the Penguins, giving the Flyers a 2-1 victory. Even the game-winning goal by Matthew Tkachuk was fairly similar with the the way he shot and was also basically in the position of the ice to that of Keith Primeau's goal 23 years ago. I'm a Capitals fan but I still remember watching that entire game with Steve Levy making the call

Would be great for my girlfriend and I we have money on the Panthers to win the cup and could win a substantial amt.I put money on the Panthers to make the playoffs back on January 27 and when I saw the Panthers beat the Bruins twice reg season I told my girlfriend we are putting money on the Panthers they have a shot at the cup so far has worked out.The risk to reward was well worth it.I have been watching hockey since the Isles won 4 straight cups I was 15 at the time Mike Bossy was amazing to watch Ovechkin not even close to that man.

Обожаю НХЛ. Этим командам нужна неделя для восстановления столько силы отдали я никогда не видел 7 периодов игры. Болел за Флориду , и мне очень жаль Каролину так как они отдали столько силы. Бобровский и Андерсен вообще с ума сошли. Этим двум воротчикам надо отдельную премию дать

Матч достоин Финала. Вратари божили не по детски. Выиграл в итоге тот кто и заслужил. Судья конечно начудил отменил гол, там контакт только воздухом был, Андерсен молодец быстро сообразил что нужно упасть. Такие моменты в регулярке в каждом матче, ну понятно нужно свиснуть.
