I think Vegas blocked a lot of shots that never got through. They need to fire it more and make hill give up a rebound. Their coach said during the game that their 5 on 5 like their strong suit. Anyway, the penalties they took made Bob have to really save their bacon. He kept them in this game.

No team got outplayed in this game, but Vegas is really solid, Vegas i no joke sort of speak. Being under against Vegas, you can see how difficult it is, it took Florida one extra man to get a goal, but when they did they did it within seconds, which shows you how tight this final is.

I go regularly in the arena here in Europe and even if it's 4-1 for the others, your team will use all effort to minimise the gap until the last minute. If they don't score, they still don't want to concede another goal. And the fans don't go home, only if it's maybe 7-0. But this gap you rarely find in a competitive league ; )

Philly at the time was an Org that had zero faith in their goalkeeping, hence the carousel of keepers coming and going for a while, following whoever got hot. Sergei had one season of an .899 Sv% following a good rookie season, and despite him being young they immediately shipped him off because there are no second chances in Philly, heh. In the meantime Bryz was only one season removed from a year in Phoenix good enough for Vezina consideration and had decent numbers in 2011-12, so they went with whoever was playing well in the moment as usual. I've had a beef to pick with how Philly handles their goalkeeping for like 2 decades now, lol, though it seems like they have gotten better about not being so reactionary with their goalie trades in recent years. Not that I've kept up with it super close lately. Maybe you can tell me how things are going now. =u=

I watched Ryan Lomberg play as a kid. He has always been willing to take on anyone. So proud to see where he is now. USHL is a great league. If you didn't know they were kids before you watched a game, you would never think you were watching kids playing. My first hockey game I went to, didn't have glass, looked more like a fence. А на судейство пенять - очень спорный аргумент.. В текущей игре судьи допустили только один косяк - с удалением в конце основного времени (нападающий просто на рулении и попытке уйти от столкновения потерял опору), - но другие результативные розыгрыши большинства Вегас зарабатывал как раз после необязательных удалений Флориды! Причем здесь судьи! Про прошлую игру, кстати, тоже можно сказать еще, что: Флорида победила, но.. в количестве штрафных минут!))
