The Canes don't have a superstar but are extremely deep with solid players. All 4 lines are solid.. defense men are solid 8 deep, getting great goalie play. A team that depends on everyone to win.

I was at the game. Rangers fans were being a little obnoxious so when the Canes took the lead and won the Hurricanes fans chanted "Igor" to mock them, continued into the stairwells as everyone was leaving. Pretty fun, let's see Canes in 6, like the Rangers fans were chanting during the anthem.

It’s seems to be whoever has the home ice advantage is winning in this series which favours Carolina unfortunately. That was a really disappointing game defensively for us, too many bad turnovers in dangerous areas of the ice left us numerically outnumbered far too often. The Aho shot that hit the post was pretty much schoolboy defending from us and truly painted the picture for how it went defensively for us. A tough loss to take given we had all the momentum after the last two games, but I’m confident we’ll bounce back at home next game. We’ve already had our backs against the wall in the playoffs this season, and we came out on top albeit against a much worse team than Carolina, but we have to keep the faith that our boys will do it. LGR!
