Dutchy Dutch he's been our most consistent player all year even when he's not scoring, he puts assist up and does alot of the gritty work and all the little things right that people may not see. He's been one of the biggest boost to this team this season. Seriously a godsend

O'Reilly had a good game, no question! That wraparound was so quick! And the rebound goal showed some skill. However, in the previous 8 games, (3 games vs Boston - 5 games vs San Jose) He didn't score any. In fact, those 2 goals were his 4th and 5th of the playoffs. (23 Games) Some of you, not only have him winning the Conn Smythe, but have him in the Hall Of Fame already. Should the NHL begin making his statue?

Coming from a Bruins fan, hats off to the St.Louis Blues. Not that they are the better team, it's just that Boston is tired. Happens to them every time when they get to the Cup Finals. Two punishing Serieses against Tororonto and Columbus had it fairly easy against Carolina, and now this series against the Blues. They did good, their fans should be proud of them. The only team that will beat the Blues are themselves. Tuuka is playing his heart out. But he can't do it by himself. I'm hurting for Tuuka. If there is one Bruin who deserved to win this year's Stanley Cup it is Tuuka Rask. Needs help from his offence, it's just too bad the Bruins ran out of steam. Can't see that they are going to win another game in this series. Unless Torey Krug takes charge of that team leading the offence. Pasternak, one of their main goal scorers, he's very ineffective. Kreji, Debrusk, Backes extremely disappointed in him, amount of $$ he's making and playing against his former team he should be on fire. Other than that they have a fairly young team, which in itself is a huge achievement coming this far. Chara , Bergeron, and even Marchand they are getting old. They had a good season. Not too many teams that make it this far. Once again Hats off to the Blues and their fans for finally winning their First Stanley Cup. So if they don't beat themselves the Bruins won't be able to do it either. The writing is on the Wall loud and clear. There are a lot of Hockey fans hating on the Bruins but you don't get this far by being nice guys and all. Every player in the NHL dreams of winning the Stanley Cup, so you cant blame the Bruins for wanting to win it all too. Proud of the Bruins, I know it's not over till it's over and you can try and tell yourself to believe that they will come out on top, but St. Louis has the edge. They are stronger and also faster. Shot totals tell you the story.

St.Louis really dominated the majority of this game. After they took a 3-2 lead with 9:22 left in the 3rd...BOS only got 1 more shot on goal the rest of the game. Phenomenal response to that game 3 beat down.

I wouldn't say that. I think they had the edge in the 1st, the 2nd was all Boston outside of 2 or 3 minutes and the 3rd was pretty even to start then once Blues took the lead they played it safe and just kept dumping it in deep. I honestly thought this had OT all over it.

Agree to disagree.. Blues out shot Bruins every period. 13-4 in the 3rd including when the goalie was pulled. BOS def had their moments in this game but Blues were just hungrier. These teams are really well matched. It's been a good series.

@@doZerBoy Shot chart isn't always accurate. In this case it got where the game was so sloppy the Blues started just throwing shots on net just because. Yes in the end the Blues did seem to be hungrier and the Bruins did not play well at all, but I wouldn't say it was to the point that the Blues dominated. As far as the teams being even. As much I'm sure Blues fans will not like to hear it, I think the Bruins are a much better team than the Blues talent wise. The Blues have just used some very well planned tactics (not all of them entirely ethical) to counter the Bruins strengths and win games.

@Von Staufenberg I've always hated the dives, and phony injuries of pro soccer. And I used to say, thank God Hockey isn't like that. Because years ago, it wasn't. But I agree with you, and I hate it, even if the Bruins do it. I know we all want our teams to win, and get power plays, but it is getting so ridiculous on that front. I wish the NHL would review these things, and upon determination it was FAKE, the player is assessed a fine, and a 1 game suspension. Then for additional offenses, the fine doubles, and the suspension doubles. It would stop it eventually. . .

The reason this series is so interesting is because both teams bounce back and win after a loss which means it's like a cycle; after the Blues win, the Bruins win, and vice versa. That also makes it really damn stressful for fans of either team lol

Sharks fan - St Louis have done a great job in this series. I honestly think San Jose would have been swept by Boston (notwithstanding any ref assistance). With the way our team is banged up there's no way we could have matched the physicality of Boston and as someone else has said already this game was all about rebounds, and Jones loves giving up juicy rebounds. And full credit to the Blues for coming back after that hammering in the last game. I still think I give the edge to Boston, but whatever happens this series has been great fun to follow as a neutral, and more fun than it would have been watching the Sharks get embarrassed in another finals series.

During the Sharks/Blues Western Conference Final, Bruin's fans were wondering if Jumbo Joe would be battling his old team, or if David Backes would be battling his. I don't really know the Backes story, other than he was the Blues Captain, and a fairly tough player. It seems like St Louis hates the guy. Again, I don't know what took place. . . I remember watching some ex-Bruins return to Boston, wearing an opponents jersey, like Milan Lucic, for example, and the Bruins Organization put an awesome highlight video, tribute up on the scoreboard and the Bruin's fans all cheered for him! Many others as well, Shawn Thornton, Tyler Seguin, Johnny Boychuk, Andrew Ference, Adam McQuaid, and Nathan Horton, just to name a few. Perhaps it's because they were all on the 2011 Stanley Cup team, I don't know. I admit, St Louis could have done the same thing for Backes on his first return to his old club. . .

@@hockeygirlfan183 - I'm a Bruins fan for sure. But, if St Louis happens to win their 1st Stanley Cup, At least, once again, NO team from Canada won it! Last Canada team to win? Montreal in 1992-93 over a quarter century ago! Toronto? Over half a century ago! 1967 which was the last Stanley Cup Final during the "Original 6" era. Toronto beat Montreal in 6 games. (So that was some comfort!) So both Toronto and St Louis haven't won in over 50 years! (But at least the Blues have a legitimate shot) Calgary hasn't won a cup since 1989 (30 years) when they also defeated Montreal in 6 games. LOL Ottawa has never won since entering the NHL in 1992. They played in the 2007 Final but lost to the Might Ducks in 5. Edmonton won in 84, 85, 87, 88, and 90 so it's been 29 years. Winnipeg has never won! (They played the Oilers in playoffs 6 times and lost all of them.) Vancouver has never won! So yeah, GO BRUINS!! but, if St Louis wins, it'll be just another very long line of consecutive USA teams lifting your CUP!!!

Well, if Boston wins the Cup, I don't think St. Louis will riot like Vancouver did. And if St. Louis wins, the last of the original 12 teams (Original 6 and 6 expansion teams) wins the Cup. Islanders, Penguins, and Flyers all won in their original cities, Minnesota and Oakland / California Seals merged, moved to Dallas and then won. So the Blues, 52 years (and give or take 50 full seasons) later, are closer than they've ever been. Turning into a pretty decent series.

R ,T This St. Louisan loves Canada and especially Saskatchewan. Spent a couple weeks in qu’appelle Saskatchewan and visited Regina. Loved my time up there, loved the people’s passion for hockey, and love the contribution the province has made to my team. Go blues! Go Saskatchewan!

St. Louis has a brutal style of play, thinking back when the playoffs started they seemed to hurt someone or several people in each series, especially San Jose!!! My god I think I counted 7 players on the San Jose bench that IS , was , or gonna get hurt.. punishing over several games, Boston is in trouble and if the blues win game 5 in Boston this series is ah done deal.

I find it extremely funny how, with what happened in game 3, that Boston fans just become so butthurt because they honestly slacked off this game and didn’t do as much as they honestly could have. The Blues took that advantage and they won exceptionally, and I feel like they have the advantage. While they’re not my favorite team, go Blues, kick some Boston-ass 👍

I will say as a reply though, I’m not saying the Blues have a better shot than the Bruins or the other way around. In my opinion, I think this might go to a game 7. It depends on which team takes the opportunities in order for them to advance. I don’t believe one game can just be a “series decider”. There have been so many moments where the impossible and the improbable decided games, even if one game seemed like a collapse. I’m here to see how these two teams fight for the rematch (Bobby Orr 1970 was the game 5 Stanley Cup winner against St. Louis). If St. Louis does win though, this will be very interesting and as well even better for them as a team. I think they need this win.

@@AutoMatato79er Actually that famous Bobby Orr goal in 1970 completed the 4 game sweep! (There was no game 5) Why do you think the Blues fans were celebrating that game 2 win? Because it was their first win ever, in a Stanley Cup Final. They were swept 3 previous times and were 0 for 12. After losing game 1, they were 0 for 13. Now they are 2 for 16 in Cup Finals. If they end up 4 for 18, or 4 for 19, they will hoist the Cup!

Owen Smith Bennington’s a great goalie, and heck the Blues aren’t even the team I root for in the regular season (Minnesota fan). From my perspective, he’s a young, still-learning, but exceptional goaltender, and he’s really putting his effort into this. That was a close ass save, ngl thought he had it, then the Bruins would’ve lost 4-1 😂👌

If we can all take a quick look back to the first round, all 4 divisional winners were defeated by the 4 Wild Card teams! Proving, that in this league, any team can beat any other team. I've been talking up the Bruins for weeks, as St Louis fans have been talking up the Blues! But, if we're absolutely, totally honest here. . . This thing could go either way. Both teams have played great. And both teams have played, not so great. That's why people pick a team in any number of games. Because nobody has a clue what will really happen. All we know for certain right now, is it will end in 6, or 7. Other than that, most everyone was wrong in their forecasting. GO BRUINS!!
