Korpisalo with the win. I love this guy. He's improved since being in Boston, and for good reason. Bob Essensa is the best goalie coach on Earth. On his 22nd season with the Bruins and he has been a HUGE asset. Tuuka Rask, Tim Thomas, Jeremy Swayman, Linus Ullmark, and now Joonas Korpisalo have become studs under his watch. Last week Korpi was asked what it has been like to get coached by Essensa and he just smiled from ear to ear right away. When he first arrived in Boston, he was frustrated, afraid, clearly struggling a lot. He was not a great goaltender. However, a couple months with Goalie Bob, and his attitude and playing has been amazing. This organization is truly blessed with a goalie coach like this. Without him, there would be no 2011 Stanley Cup. No 2022-2023 historic season, shattering long-held NHL records one after the other. He's now 5-2 with 2 shutouts, above 900 SV%, and below 2.00 GAA. If we make the playoffs, and Swayman gets injured or struggles, I am fully confident that our backup goalie will give us an equally good chance of winning. 2 for Marchy, 2 for Geekie. This is a big deal game for this team! Even for us fans this is an important win.

we could always see why winning pucks, especially along the walls or faceoffs, would lead to scoring chances. Marchand and Pastrnak lead by example and the team followed up! but this is the isles and i'm not completely sold lol i hope they do this against the canes or cats
