Skaf delivered 4 shots the last 4 games, in spite of all the ice-time at ES and on the PP...and I don't think he even touched the puck this game!

I'm guessing they're being paid by the guest broadcasters to promote their channel over SportsNet and incentivise people to watch Sportsnet on TV. Plus Bell is removing American channels from the basic subscription plans. If you want them, you'll have to pay the higher tier. This also could be a tactic to not only get profits from guest broadcasters but get Bell customers (Idk if Rogers is doing this too) to pay the higher tier for American channels if they promote it. This is my guess.

That backhand that deflected off of GHOULS stick was a beaut. I'm not impressed with that missed call on the BLATANT goalie interference though. That's how teams lose their 1A goalies for 8 to 12 weeks of a season, if not more. Because not enough is done by the NHL to protect them from this garbage. And I don't care what team you root for, that shouldn't be tolerated.

final thoughts... i hope arizona do not move. Like why people hate so much on hockey in arizona.?? They give up the neutral zone so easy. I have grown up watching hockey , I m not a "natural " but even I can tell. They give up the neutral zone. Their offensive rush is not working well. Like some better crisper passing would be nice. They had two amazing chances and did not score. They should have scored at least in one. Partially because poor skating and placement of the skater in terms of offense. I watch lots of highlighst of hockey , the penguins with malkin and crosby or edmonton would have buried at least one of those. no tik tak toe passing. Just holding the puck too much when you need to pass it with 3 on 1 with one guy from montreal rushing on D. Bad . And then the goals were all flukes. lol I just honelty hope that hockey can thrive in Arizona. Can someone make mullet arena into afro arena? LOL or perm arena? LOL or freezy arena lol. Just kidding. their arena is iconic. I saw them play vs the rangers and leafs. They need better defence at least. crisper passing and better offensive rush dynamics. still - go rangers! v

Jiri Slav seems contentment to glide on back checking, Cofield makes zero attempt to engage physically ( what was that little poke check he attempted while the opponent cut in and scored?) Some players care (Mike Pez…but they sit him, he should be playing). But bottom line is - we lost. The coach continues his “we played well/we make progress/ we are getting better”. Peewee comments. We are exactly as good as we are last year, and will be the same next few years…and the management will say the same things. That’s proof they are complacent. Big changes needed to get back on track. Bet they are enjoying the weather. GHG !

Well he did score 47 goals in 82 games before this year... His still very young and just started his nhl career really so ya but his small I'd see more as a second liner at 5 or 6 mill I guess if I'd wanna play devil's advocate
