just gonna drop a momtembeault appreciation comment, .933 against a team that got 7 PPs and pulled goalie at the end for a 6-on-4. if he keeps it up he'll be a star, and i have no doubts because he's just continuing from the tail-end of last year.

6:27 Bedard's missed shot was a killer ! Those are always so dangerous at this level because those missed wrap around the boards shots spring the once in defensive zone team on a full steam ahead rush. No to overly critique the rookie but when he missed that shot, he had no awareness that he needed to back check to try and break up the breakaway goal. He needed to atleast attempt to beat Monahan there !

In my opinion Connor Bedard had better line mates on the Canadian World Junior Team than what he has with the Blackhawks right now. They were far more superior skill wise than his Chicago Blackhawks. People says he’s a bust are just jealous and forgotten how bad Montreal Canadians were when they were at the beginning of their rebuild. I feel like every team is going after Bedard because he is the best player they’ve got. I hope Connor Bedard will succeed and shut you all up. Honestly what do you people have against him? I don’t think anyone of you can do as well as him with all the scrutiny that he has been living through. He’s very young and he will find his way!

Chicago better get a bigger bag of tricks. The pass until Bedard gets open is already tiresome to watch. They'll burn him out. Hes obviously a great player but good god. Hes 18. Let him grow into the game at this level.
