Man, that was a banana skin moment for Vancouver against a rather poor Anaheim outfit. Thank God for Dak he came back in good stead. Nevertheless, 2x points will do. Big shoutout to Arturs Silovs. Great performance in his first start of the season.

Garland/Miller/Joshua line is CRAZY good. You already know Garland and Joshua have wicked chemistry. Slot in a more skilled and gritty center with great hockey sense and you have a pretty awesome line. I also think 5 on 5, Boeser will benefit from playing with a more creative centerman like Petterson. They had some amazing chemistry together a few years ago.

Hey Tocchet, please note that we have only Garland who does the front net passes from behind the net... and guess what, those kind of passes are very dangerous and with a high goal scoring probability... Tell your guys to make more such passes and you will be surprised how many goals we will score after that

I would be pissed if i was Tocchet. Yes the Canucks have 100 points and yes they finally made the playoffs in front of fans for the first time since 2015 but if you can barely beat the Ducks with the Oilers red hot and on the cusp of overtaking the Canucks for 1st in the west i would pissed too. Canucks are gonna be out in the first round if they don’t pick it up and get serious. Dak Joshua was great though.
