Canucks fan here. The oilers did not crush our souls in game 4. Canucks showed how persistent they are by making another comeback. Remember Nashville beat us in the final minute of game 5, and the Canucks came back and won game 6. Canucks will win in 6.

Canucks in 7. Oilers can’t hold on to leads, they let the Canucks come back from a three goal deficit and a two goal deficit both in third period. You can’t keep doing that and win a series. Agreed, I'd roll with the hot hand (Pickard). Edmonton is an offensively dominant team. They don't need a goalie to stand on their head, they just need solid and consistent. They are usually good for scoring 3-5 goals most every night and win games with 2 or 3 goals allowed

With each passing game, I think it is showing that the Canucks aren’t built for the playoffs and are probably very lucky to have gotten out of the first round. EP40 has all but disappeared, Mikheyev needs to be scratched, and when I have watched other series they all just seem to play visibly faster. He doesn't care, he doesn't care that he is on the 4th line, he doesn't care that he is not scoring, he doesn't care about the team. The NHL should make a new rule for NHL contracts, call it the swedish clause: if a player doesn't produce to the expectations expected in his contract, the NHL team that has signed him has the right to pay him according to his abilities.
