Congratulations on your first NHL goal Logan Stankoven and Happy 21 Birthday!! Hard work pays off!

As an Isles fan, there’s no rivalry between our two teams. Congratulations to Logan Stankoven on getting his first NHL goal on his 21st birthday, what a birthday present! I admire how Dallas picks good players and develops them down on the farm and you guys do not bring them up until they’re ready; not before. I didn’t know Logan Stankoven is only 5’8” but I think he’s better than Bedard & here’s why. Because I can tell he avoids contact and when he does get hit clean? He absorbs the hit and doesn’t cry about it, because he’s 21-year-old man and not an 18-year-old kid! He’s going to be an excellent NHL player for you guys and possibly an elite all-star player in the next 2-4 years, he’s really good! I’ve played enough and watched enough hockey to recognize an excellent & or most likely,m an elite player 2-4 years from now. I think 21 is the perfect age to start your NHL career. Too many teams start their draft picks in the NHL way too soon and too young. Jack Hughes is a perfect example. He should have never started playing in the NHL with men the year he was drafted. The majority of them (not all) need a least one year of development in the AHL at the minimum to play against men and he was one of them, but the Devils needed to sell tickets. (I get it, but I don’t agree with it) and I’ll take it a step further! You should have to be 21 to play in the NHL but that’s a pipe dream that will never happen! Young players need time to build up their man strength before jumping right into the NHL. The Devils were lucky Jack didn’t get seriously hurt, really lucky! (If this were the 90s? Jack would have gotten seriously injured) He should have never started in the NHL. His body hadn’t matured enough for the NHL. Good luck with the rest of your season. Peace!

glad we sold high on Horvat. We're happy with one of ...if not the best... 1, 2 D pair in hockey. Horvat turned into Hronek (plus/plus) now paired with Hughes. We're good with that.

Lots of dipsy-doodling by Barzal on that OT goal. Couldn’t do that in real hockey but it was real pretty in 3-on-3.
@jon800410 ай бұрын
Barzal basically does that in "real hockey". He does that during even strength all the time.

this is just one of those huh things cause youd think the stars who can beat the canes and avs on a good night somehow cant take a win from a struggling islanders. they just play us better for some reason XD maybe its roy remembering all the playoffs with us.
