As a Habs fan, I think most of the pressure the last couple of weeks came from the fact that the team management said that this year they were ready to be in the mix for the playoffs, which I knew that was bullshit (my best prediction was to get out of the bottom of the division and fight for a wildcard spot but not win the spot in the end) I think that Martin did deserve some of the blame because everyone was just awful this season, goalies, defensive line, offensive line. You could just tell in the postgame media interviews that Martin just felt defeated. Everyone mentioned that this team is still young, which they are but a good portion of this team were at the Stanley cup final not to long ago, Hell, some have a Stanley cup. I just feel like this team should be getting better by now, if you’re going to lose don’t let it be by a massive margin. but hey hopefully we finally starting to turn things around.
